The old interface has been replaced by a new one with red/blue colouring. Is it this one you are seeing? If not maybe there is an issue with the upload

New maps are in the works which will use the new models and textures that Jeroenimo has made for the EAW:Remake mod (check out his page to see what sort of maps you can expect in the next update)

THANK YOU, but, on Installation Instructions says "1) After unzipping the main zip file it will give you a folder named: BSGWC
2) This will give you several files and one sub folder: Battlestar Galactica Mod.bat, Installation Instructions.txt and Mods.", but it (the subfolder Battlestar Galactica Mod.bat) not appears!
I can't do something, even with the launcher, which does not detect mod's alterations
:(((((
While wait for answer, i'll try to find on past version the .BAT file

I have a similar problem. There was no mods folder or even Battlestar Galactica Mod.bat file. Just a data file, the installation instructions, the credits doc, and some other misc texts and pics of lists of ship names. Did I lose something during the extract process?

Okay so... the mods looks a bit worse than the 0.8 versions... everything is incredibly smaller, collision animations (when missiles or salvos hit) looked better before, but what bothers me the most, is that in the update you said something about hardpoints, yet ever since i started playing the mod, i've seen 0 hardpoints anywhere... ship- or station-wise. Can someone explain if i'm doing something wrong with the installation? or is it just mod bug...

P.S. There is no launch file in the archives after 0.8.2, i had to redownload that one so i can get the Launch (.bat) file from it.

A few graphical sacrifices have been made to try and boost performance, I'm hoping to get some newer textures which will look better while not hitting the FPS too much soon. The hardpoints thing (which has only been partly implemented) wont be visible, targetable hardpoints but rather invisible hardpoints which take damage over time and eventually are destroyed. So you cant target turrets but if enough missiles land close by then the turret is destroyed and hopefully soon I can get models that will show damage so the ships will look more beaten and damaged before being destroyed.

What about AI? The current one is disturbingly weak... also it only plays with standard settings, if you change ANYTHING (heroes, starting units, starting money, etc.) the AI doesn't initiate. Can we expect a fix on that? Since playing with 20k starting money, isn't exactly balanced... in my opinion at least...

This AI is unaltered from the previous version and I've not had anyone else reporting issues with it. I'm not entirely sure why altering the defaults would break that either.....
It's possible that the issue could just be with your version... Does it work fine when you don't alter anything? Is there anything you can alter which doesnt cause the AI to glitch out?

sadly - no... when i leave it as it is, it works fine... if i change starting units - it breaks, if i change starting money - it breaks... cuz i like starting with the least possible amount of funds, otherwise it's not as fun for me...
P.S. Have you considered making a launcher client for the mod?

I’ve not really looked into it, I don’t know how such launchers are made but I suppose I could try in the future.

If I have time later I can make for you an altered file which changes the defaults to lowest money and any other starting conditions you prefer. Maybe then you can play against the AI :)

I'd be thankful for it... but it wouldn't be fair to everyone else... like... i can play the way i want, but others must abide by the way the mod is set... is there a way you can fix the whole thing instead? I know i'm probably asking a lot and you're not even getting paid to do it... but i thought it's only fair i ask :)

Excellent mod, the marine colonies are incredible, but still lacks the cylon robot, only appears as the welder of the empire of the wars of the galaxies, there is still much, but this good, I wait for the update soon...

Excellent mod though i notice that some units are unbeatable in auto resolve but weak as hell when you play the battle (cylon raiders ground) XD you need to throw ground vipers at a 2 to one ratio to win in auto. also it was mention in the notice that the pop cap was increased to 40 but in game it's still 30 but beside that nit pick and the lack of cylon infantry models everything is great
