BattleField 1942 mod | Released Mar 26, 2004

Battlefield 1918 is a total conversion modification for Battlefield 1942. The mod takes Battlefield 1942 into a whole new scenario, the first world war. Next to historically correct equipments and vehicles, we try to recreate the atmosphere of these WW1 battlefields as close as we can, keeping in mind the game we're working with. To achieve this, we've drastically changed the gameplay from the original game like so that you must now rely on teamwork, artillery, trenches and slow vehicles....

Advance to 3.1 ! We decided to fix the 3.0 and create the 3.1. Unfortunately 3.0 had a lot of bugs and balancing problems. We already got most of it fixed. So we can also focus on new content. We hope you will support us once again!

Once again we decided to develop a news Version for 1918
We already worked a long time to fix the bugs of 3.0 and it looks like we finally succeeded!

Now we want to inform you that we will concentrate in 3.1 on the following Topics:
1) To equip the new Nations with their unique Weapons and Tanks
2) To increase the Number of Maps with Bot support
3) To optimise the Balance of 1918
4) To add at least 1 or 2 Maps that feature a Sea fight

To finish 1918 we need all help we can get! So if you are interested in modding a 1942 mod please apply at www.inside1918.de

Wow guys I am real glad this mod isn't dead years back when this first came out it was the only mod besides FH that I played. Now its back and gives me a reason to re-install Bf1942. O and one more thing I have not really played this mod in ages so is the massive German Zeppelin still in Bocage or is that long gone just like 3/4 of the 1942 fan base. :P

They deleted the Zep from Bocage in 0.2 of the mod sadly.... I remember when it was in the 0.1 phase, and you could fly that beast around the map, and even land it. :P
