Today we of the Battlefield 1918 Mod Development Team greet our loyal fans with great news, as Battlefield 1918 has Officially been listed as one of the Top 100 Mods of 2023 on ModDB! We must thank all of you amazing fans for your loyalty over these many years which has made it possible for us to get to this point. We should also take the time to mention that are fans have done much more as well for Battlefield 1918. To provide one example allow us to mention the efforts of JasonGutierrez who created an add-on to Battlefield 1918 introducing a feature many have been asking for years. That being support for 256 players in Battlefield 1918!
It is of note that this add-on should not be seen as Official and is indeed very much Fan Made; however, that does as previously mentioned further demonstrate the effort and loyalty of our fans and for this we cannot be more thankful. With this in mind a slightly improved version of the 256 Add-On has been made available for download, and please remember that it is very much an experimental fan project.
With this loyalty in mind it is the belief of the Battlefield 1918 Mod Development Team that with your help we have a very real chance of potentially making Battlefield 1918 Mod Of The Year during this second round of voting on ModDB. Yes it is clear that competition is stiff especially this year, and we give our congratulations to many other mod teams who have done exceptionally well, though between the release of 3.4 and with efforts by our fans such as the aforementioned 256 Player Add-On there is also much to praise with regards to the accomplishments of Battlefield 1918 this year. It is also of note that development of Battlefield 1918 still continues and we hope to have more news soon that we believe you will be very happy to hear. Keeping this in mind we wish for you to vote for Battlefield 1918 to be Mod Of The Year.
