Greetings to the many loyal fans of Battlefield 1918. We of the Battlefield 1918 Mod Development Team wish you all a Merry Christmas and in doing so we must announce that we are releasing a brand new update to Battlefield 1918 today, specifically version 3.4b! This new update includes a feature long requested by our fans, that being a return of the XMas1918 Expansion!
Players will be able to enjoy the holiday with this Christmas themed expansion on no less than 5 maps and with Christmas themed items and vehicles to boot! Special credit must go to Vatnik for making the return of XMas1918 possible on our latest build of Battlefield 1918. Speaking of which it is worth noting that Battlefield 1918 is also getting some improvements. Firstly fans will be pleased to hear that another map has received bot support, namely Gaza Town!
Set in 1917 in the Middle Eastern theater of operations, this classic map has been long overdue for proper COOP support and with Battlefield 1918 3.4b this matter has been resolved. Speaking of the Middle East now is a good time to have a look at a new uniform variant!
UK players will be pleased to hear that they are receiving some attention in terms of hot weather uniforms. It is hoped such improvements will be of comfort to those facing the scorching heat of the desert!
A final note that should be mentioned is with regards to the fan made 256 patch. Although this patch is not included in the base version of Battlefield 1918 3.4 itself, an update of it has been provided separately for those who wish to indulge and experiment with the extra bots. With all of this in mind download links will be provided below. We again humbly thank all of you loyal fans and look forward to the new year.
