I installed the mod like any normal person who has this mod, steam or not, that is to install it in the main folder.

I then ran the mod via the shortcut provided, the error shows up saying Botb is not recognized and another instance is running. Somehow the shortcut is trying to simultaneously run The Battle of Crete mod that I have installed. So I uninstalled BoC to see if it worked but sadly it didn't.

So I uninstalled Botb, installed it in a new folder that is not the main one (CoH), copied everything in said folder, pasted it in the main, created a shortcut with the line: "steam" -dev -mod BotB -nomovies. Still nothing, got the same error. I tried to add -applaunch 228200 on the target line (don't know what this is tbh), nothing again.

I have mods like Back to Basics, Immersion 44, Cross of Iron that are installed that have the same target line: -dev -mod (whatever mod main folder is) and they work like a charm. This mod only has some issue that I can't solve. I might be dumb to know what problem I've got so yeah.

Help me

edit: I just uninstalled the mod. Love the mod btw even though I haven't played it yet but I am excited if someone can help a man out. Thanks in advance!

edit 2: God I am a dummy. Its all good. All I did was set the launch options in the CoH by including -dev -mod BotB -(other stuff) and wouldn't you know it, it worked. No need to reply, I am a dummy I know, but for those you might have problems just do what I mentioned and set your launch options and adding the necessary lines.
