Baldur's Better Aesthetics is an attempt to make Baldur's Gate 3 look more like Faerûn as we know it. If you are like me, I trust you made a double-take or two at the sheer number of shaved Dwarves wandering around the city as if they were not by their very presence in public bringing great and lasting shame on their ancestors. Babyface Dwarves? With this mod installed, most of the male Dwarves you encounter across Baldur's Gate will now be sporting big, bushy beards, as one would expect of the Dwarves across Faerûn and other fantasy worlds. In addition, more Duergar will be bald (including the women!) and fewer Githyanki will have facial hair. You'll also see fewer Chultans, but more Calishites, and NO pink-haired Half-Orcs! These changes aren't universal, but you will certainly notice a difference!

This site is so confusing. Which file should I download? I see one in files and two in addons. Do I need all of them?
Also is it compatible with the latest game version? Thx.

It should be, but you'll need to ditch the localization pak until I update it again.

Fantastic mod, a lot of fuss and censorship over something incredibly sensible

This mod was really well done. Thank you for putting this together, as it has added some serious sanity to the aesthetics of BG3.

I am not having these crashes, so it is hard for me to diagnose the issue.

I know some people have had luck by only extracting the Public and Loc folders and not extracting the Mods folder. Let me know if that works.

Does this mod work with non-english localization? Also - why does it need to replace localization files at all? 🤔

The localization file fixes typos that Larian has stubbornly left unfixed and changes the names of some NPC guards. It is not necessary for the visual aspects of the mod.
