the international district was controlled by western powers and stayed neutral, how are you gonna represent that?

mostly I just used North American style building models.

it honestly feels like too much work to draft all the triggers required to have the Japanese AI (or player) to 'respect' the neutrality of the International District. these triggers might not work if players wanted to switch from one side to another.

there's also not a whole lot that could have (historically) been done if that neutrality was blatantly violated by Japanese forces, either.

Berlin, Changsha, Leningrad, Shanghai, Stalingrad, Warsaw are all cities where I would consider making multiple maps to reflect different aspects and periods of World War 2.

Description

most of the work I've done in the last three or four months has just been trouble-shooting and correcting bugs. in my spare time, however, I've sought variety in creating a new SP map that depicts Shanghai. I'm sure it's not going to look 100% accurate, but I tried looking at historical maps, photographs, and a bit of reading. it has a fairly complex set of roads and railway lines that players can capture and use to extend their supply lines.
