finally got around to doing something I've been wanting to do for years. creating new terrain biomes where players can mix and match different types of terrains. this adds diversity and realism to the game since maps depicting larger regions would realistically have multiple types of terrain in them.

I've created two types of 'Universal biomes' for enhanced map-building. the Arctic, Boreal, Chaparral, Temperate biome. and the Desert, Savannah, Tropical biome (as shown here).

I'd like to say that players will see these in the new WW2 Metagame. but, honestly, I don't see that happening any time soon. there are a number of other more important problems to tackle in the WW2 map. for now I'm just glad I found a way to make this happen.
