the good news is that the new Podhale Rifles infantry regiment looks very good when loitering in the field or running from place to place. the bad news is that once they enter combat those capes start flying and animating in very strange and super-powered ways.
Some sort of super solider cape project
just these guys have capes for now. the Podhale Rifles and the big rain cape was part of their dress uniform. but a rain cape can useful in other places so we decided to add it to the model.
I guess the British would have something that looked similar: the Mk.VII groundsheet did get used like a cape in WW1 and in Burma during WW2. haven't seen any WW2 pictures to confirm this--but more than a few written sources have confirmed the practice took place
I might end up using this for the Indian Army faction that's in progress. it's just a matter of figuring out which regiment would be 'elite' in the right sort of way.
Make me thing of some sci-fi movie that base on WW2 ^^
Sort of makes me think of the browncoats in Firefly
makes me think of harry potter but gg
When standing, they're soldiers, when shooting they turn into Doritos
