hunterben52 May 16 2023"Just a Suggestion it's true, unpacking the shipyard at a good location is extremely difficult in the randomly generated WW2 maps. sometimes it just isn't possible on the smaller maps. thanks for the suggestion. I won't be able to do that in time for this upcoming August... as I have a lot of other things I'm tackling right now. this is theoretically possible, and COULD be a fairly practical solution to the problem. however, I can immediately think of a few problems. there IS a problem with this idea. I would have to do several things to make this idea work. that would involve adding several hundred lines of code and well over a hundred new files. it's not a bad idea. I just don't have time to try it now. since I'm already looking at revising some of the WW2 Metagame random maps. it would DEFINITELY be to easier change the RMC maps so that more sections of water are available. I can't promise that this will work. I only started seriously looking at the WW2 maps again a month or so ago. |
