Nebulon B2 Overhaul image - Awakening of the Rebellion 2.8 mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption

Inspired by the old RTS Star Wars: Rebellion, AotR brings many features from this game and other titles such as a more in-depth mission system, tech system, and many new units! Immerse yourself in the Galactic Civil War era as the fledgling Rebellion, the oppressive Empire, or the criminal Black Sun pirates. This mod is not for the feint of heart and will test your RTS skills with a completely overhauled AI and difficulty. Versions newer than 2.6 can be found on the steam workshop only (due to issues with the non-steam versions)
In AotR the design of the Nebulon B2 gives the Empire a much needed small frigate with an additional bonus of anti-fighter missile weaponry. Its additional missiles were inspired from its portrayal in the early Star Wars flight sims. While not a large threat to fast moving fighters, the missiles will be effective against the slower bomber craft of the Black Sun and Rebellion.
The model itself has been put together through the help of nkorn, who took the Battlefront Dice Nebulon B we have currently in the mod and adjusted it to look more like the Nebulon B2. On top of that, parts of the old EvilJedi model were re-purposed, such as the wings and bridge, to move the design closer to the original portrayal of the ship.
And before anyone asks... the ship is no longer buildable by the Rebellion, but may find its way into their hands through... other means.
U also can see some of our improved Particle Effects. The Smoke Trails of the Missles, Muzzleflashes from the Turbolasers. Impact Explosions right behind the Lancer Frigate and a Fighter Detonation behind the Engine Compartment of the Nebulon B2.
