After the assasination of Mikhail Gorbachev by the Alfa Group, the Soviet Union has fallen into civil war between the State Committee on the State of Emergency (SCSE) fighting against the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR) alongside the Free Ukrainian Liberation Army (FULA).

Following the start of the Civil War and to prevent ethnic clensing's between these previous SSR's population, NATO decided to lead a multi-national peacekeeping forces in a matter of peace and stability to the largest nation on earth.
SAFR consists of forces from nations such as

- Poland
- Romania
- Denmark
- Canada
- Italy
- Indonesia
- Australia
- Egypt
- Czechoslovakia
(Mostly inspired by the NATO led peace enforcement forces during the Yugoslav Wars and do note that not all of these nations will have ground troops, mostly will be vehicle variants of the respective nations.)
