Yes and no. iv seen so many pics and not one have the same dimensions. even different styles of mouthpiece and tubes and all sorts. Also the perspective pics do make it look large, check the other image to the right, in the front and side image it seems correct and in the perspective is again seems larger.

Let me know if you agree.

feel free to add a bit more wear and tear along the edge, it will look even more impressive.

remember most parts of the armor are hundreds or even thousands of years old, so theres no need to keep it in an almost new condition.

I Do Not think A SM's Power Armor would "ALWAYS" Be Scratched up unless he has been in Battle/Siege over time and has not had tech servitor's clean/repair it.

But that could be just me or it could be FLUFF ..

like i said, marine armour parts are ancient most of the time, but aside from that, you will get a much more "busy" looking texture which will be more interesting to look at.

yes a marines armour should be well maintained, but theres barely any wear on this one.

Just to add a bit more detail to this. The marine you see is a Rookie marine, a bog standard none veteran etc etc. This guy has done some training and a few small skirmish's he hasn't been in the chapter for hundreds of years. his Armor is relatively new and is well maintained by lots of techmarines.

Anyway. I also dont want too much damage/scaring that will just look cloned/duplicated across multiple units when running around in game.

"Oh, you got shot and scratched in exactly the same place bro!? dafuq!?"

Most of the marines (the ones i do) will look cleaner than you explain for the reason i have explained. Special units such as vets, captains etc they will have the unique details etc as they are more sparse in the mission/game/story and less likely to see 18 identical commanders in the same mission.

Please also note that there is a wound texture that can be applied above the other texture and mat. This will have more battle damage and will be set to show @~50 health or whatever value.

Thanks for the comments and interest.
