Another Fate mod for Half-Life

I never finished this Mod since I last played it on my old PC that I no longer use, however I got through a quarter of the Cheap Substitutes chapter, so yeah, quite a long way into the Mod.
This Mod is almost certainly the LONGEST Mod ever created for this game. It’s even longer than Riot in Progress and ESHQ. Clocking in at 100 Maps, you’d think this Mod would be very impressive… Well, that’s the problem.
The Map quality is only SOMETIMES decent, however most of the time the Maps are very basic. It feels like the author made one Map each day with each Map taking a few hours to make, which sounds time consuming but is not much time spent on making Maps. Hence why most of them are very flawed and bland. The Maps at the start are especially bad as they consist of ugly, unnecessarily long and huge rooms with dead ends that make them frustrating to go in.
As for the gameplay, it’s fairly fun. However the difficulty can be off the charts and you don’t always get a lot of armour or ammo. Most of the time I didn’t mind this, but it did become very frustrating in the Xen levels, which already are highly dragged out. Especially the final part with the constantly spawning Controllers and the annoying Alien Grunts which I had to use Godmode to beat. Aside from that, I do like the new weapons in the Mod. We have an M4 that is very OP but with scarce ammo, a lethal rapid fire shotgun and a handy Desert Eagle with two firing modes. Dunno if there are any more weapons though since I didn’t finish it.
I’d love to finish this Mod some day. With an astronomical amount of Maps and length, I don’t think there will ever be a Mod like this again, for better or for worse.
