Alternate Warfare is a Total Conversion on C&C3 engine, the background story is set in the Cold War era in a different timeline, in which the experimental weapons that never practically saw service are granted a chance to prove themselves in the battlefield. As the Commander, you will have to battle through a series of campaigns dating from regional conflict in the 70s to a full-scale nuclear war in the mid-90s, make use of these new weapons wisely in order to emerge victorious in this Alternate Warfare.
What is the poly count like on these?
around 3200.
That seems like too much, even for C&C 3. The game will slow right down once you build a few of these.
It looks nice but I think you have more polys on the wheels and threads then the rest of the vehicle lol
yeah the poly count is too big, I would say up to 2000 max, renegade uses models from 2000 to 6000 polys generasl upto 1000 so this should be up to 2500 most if u want that it wont lag on lower end computers.
Vertex count matters (Real vertex count), polygons do not matter.
EA does not even bother mention a polygon limit.
And it would be cool if people who do not mod C&C3, did not make up a polygon limit.
