There was a ac 130 a few second ago, a picture of it :c
Edit: Nevermind, it is back
haha yes i didnt like the order so i removed and added it again :P
hey jones i got a quick question, i was trieng to add the ac 130 into the objects at the bf2 editor and then i may will be able to customize other maps and put it in them and heve some fun with that, as i extract the files and all and open the bf2 editor and in the air viecles section i managed to see only the choppers and the usmc jets however i haven't found the ac130... where can i find it so i can make or customize a map and deploy it?
also do you know how can i add this jet to the normal bf2 if its possible? thanks
Nice work! Just as always!
Just wait till its lit up by explosions and muzzle flashes, then you'll see the true beauty!
Or devastation, if you're the MEC.
mec will get lots of mobile aa and attack bomber with missilepods to counter this bugger ;D
Is it possible to implement dynamic lighting?
So day to storm to morning to night etc
Yes, I actually saw a WIP video of dynamic lighting in BF2 made by one of the PR devs. But I read it caused a lot of other problems.
Aww man... Playing this interstellar marines and the dynamic lighting is pretty epic... What a shame...
dynamic lighting would basically make your CPU cry :) all the building shadows are actually static textures so that your CPU doesn't have to recalculate as many shadows.
However you can do different lighting on different layers of a map, so 16 can be night time, 64 can be day time etc. It's relatively simple to do, but just a bit of a bugger sometimes because it vastly increases the margin of error.
