Have a noir atmosphere in Jabba's Palace, and give Jabba the Hutt a large fedora hat with a feather in it, and gave him a pinky ring. Have some people with violins playing in the background. Then, have him tell his groupies "alright all. I have gathered you all here to celebrate my pet rancor's birthday. Everyone get's one small request, on this the day of my rancor's birthday. Then have Luke Skywalker walk in, say, "you will bring captain solo and the wookiee to me." Jabba in turn says, "I like Solo where he is." And show Solo in carbonite hanging on the wall, then he says to Luke, "you will be my pet's birthday dinner, on this the day of my pet rancor's birthday."
It is good, right? ... I hope... Anyway, normally I would release an update, but this is slightly different. This time, we are going back in time. Specifically to August 2012. My mod was only around five months old, and I had only just recently renamed it to Alliance at War. I was very new to modding. I had no real idea what I was doing... Well that is still the case sometimes, ha.
This time I am releasing a previous update. I believe this is the 1.1 update from 2012, but my records are incomplete and missing bits and pieces. Its time stamp and what it comes with certainly does match what the 1.1 update would have been. A big round of applause for Mod DB users Darth_Saber for this. Without him I could not have done this. He had a preserved copy of it, and shared it. It was like a major trip down memory lane for me. I know to some players on Mod DB, it is just another update... Or old update, but to me this is like... a mojor hobby of mine. I modded this game in my free time, spent many nights on it, stayed up late working on it, ha. It is like my virtual baby or something... I do not know. This was 7 years ago, ha. What was you doing 7 years ago? If you want to play this update and compare the "then and now" you can. If not, well I hope you at least enjoying the current edition of the mod.
Now the "read me" that is included in the update is what came with said update. This is like reaching into the past and pulling out an original update from the year and or month it was released. The former update will be released on the 7th anniversary of Alliance at War; which is March 3rd 2019, ha.
If you all are wondering if I will ever release a new update... I still work on AaW sometimes, and I am planning for the day I release another update, but it will not be any time soon. Like I mentioned, I do still work on it. I just play other games like SWTOR -- shout out to the Star Forge server by the way -- and World of Tanks. There are a few others, but you get the idea, ha.

Thank you for your kindness Larry-3, I am grateful that my penchant for saving the mods that I like has brought you and others such happiness and for this wonderful opportunity we each have to glory in the days when your talent was young but then as now so very intriguing and delightful.
