Patch notes for the August 2023 Alliance at War mod update.

With the debut of the Ahsoka series, I thought it was the perfect time for an update. Though the update does not have anything to do with the series, I can still celebrate it. Here are the patch notes community:

* Stormtrooper formation order is not as straight. In the field they might not move completely in 18th century formations now. It is similar, just a little bit more rugged now.

* Cantwell-class Cruiser shadow mesh issues have been largely fixed and its ion cannon starting base damage per shot has been increased.
Was 10, is now 15.

* Corellia piracy space mission map is now wider allowing more room, and the player now has more starting forces.

* The player now has more starting forces in the Mon Cala piracy space mission.

* Added the Golan-II Defense Platform.

* Text boxes will not longer list "Magnetic Structure Shielding", and will now list "Shield Refresh Rate."

* The GC version of the Eclipse now has a new icon.

* Structure force crush ability that force users use can now destroy structures at a quicker rate.

* All weapon hardpoints on the Vindicator-class Heavy Cruiser have received a +5 base damage buff.

* Ant-aircraft turrets rate of fire has slightly increased.

* Gozanti max rate of turn has slightly increased.

* The Zann Consortium Cantina will now generate a bit more more income. Is now a max roll of +50% planetary income, was +40%.

* All turbolaser batteries on the Starhawk Prototype have been buffed. Was 25 base damage per shot, is now 40 base damage per shot.

* Coruscant planet income has been increased. Was a base income of 160 credits per week, is now 170.

* Raider I-class Corvette has had 4 of its laser cannons replaced with 4 twin turbolaser batteries.

* Land bombing run bombers will fly in and across the map at slightly higher speed.

* Eriadu land map lighting and skybox should now better match the planet model in GC.

* Abandoned Sensor Array FoW reveal range has been reduced to an 8th of its former radius.

* AT-DP cost in GC has increased. Was 170, is now 350.

* Added Dreadnought-class Heavy Cruiser.

* Acclamator II-class Assault Ship will now decommission and lock out at tech 3.

* Fixed an issue with Darth Vader not spawning in the Rim World Conflict GC.

* Starfighter grade ion cannons have had their base damage per shot reduced. Was 20 base damage per shot, is now 8.

* Slightly reduced the rate of fire on the Scout Bike. It will now also fire 3 volley's at a time instead of 4 under normal conditions.

* The MPTL-2a is no longer available.

* The IG-227 Hailfire Droid has been buffed in terms of damage output and can now be built on any world with a Heavy Vehicle Factory. It has also lost its Barrage ability and now has the Ping ability. Its credit cost in Skirmish has increased from 550 to 790.

* The AT-RT Walker can now be built on any world with a Light Vehicle Factory.

* The Galactic Empire will now start the Equal Footing GC with the Nadiri Dockyards already under their control.

* The MC40a has been moved to station level 4 in GC.

* Aeten II, Corulag, Fondor and Kessel Z.C. piracy mission map size has been increased to fall in line with the standard map size for AaW. The player will also begin the mission with more starting forces.

* The time it takes to build the Death Star II and its cost has increased. It also can now be built at a level 1 starbase.

* Endor's max starbase level has been reduced to level 2.

* SPMA-T scaling has been improved.

* The MC80 has moved to tech 5, it now requires a level 5 starbase to build and its engines should now glow.

* E-web turret should fully rotate now.

* Added Lancer Frigate.

* The T4-B tank can no longer be built.

* Naboo's planetary bonus is now Mining Colony.

* Added Heavy Tracker tank.

* Mantooine's planetary bonus is now Light Armor (Rebel Alliance.)

* Players will now begin the Anaxes Intimidation mission with two tanks instead of one.

* Players will now begin the Bestine Kidnapping mission with three tanks instead of two.

* Players will now begin the Thyferra Kidnapping mission with three Defilers instead of two.

* Z-95 Headhunter's Hunt ability has been replaced with Missile Shot, its max top speed has increased and will now come in flights. Flight size is faction dependent.

* In Skirmish, the Rebel Z-95 Headhunter has been moved from the Merchant Space Dock and the Hutt Asteroid Base to the Alliance Command Uplink.

* Imperial and Rebel Fleet commanders now spawn in their own ships, can warp into battle if a fleet began a battle with a pathfinder, and now have the Concentrate Fire ability.

* Z.C. corruption particles have been reduced on the galactic map to reduce CPU workload.

* AT-DP's max speed have been very slightly reduced.

* Added AT-MP.

* Dark Trooper Phase III now fires in volley's of 6 instead of 4.

* The HP and shield bars displayed above a unit have been lowered on the Imperial-class Star Destroyer's and the Secutor-class Star Destroyer.

* Added K79-S80 ITT.

* The Lancet Aerial Artillery can no longer be built.

* The TIE Striker has been lowered one tech level and can now be built at tech level 3.

* Players will now start the Equal Footing GC with 5000 more starting credits. Was 20000, is now 25000.

* The Galactic Empire will start Equal Footing with more structures built to better match the other factions.

* Slightly increased the Field of View for space tactical battles.

* Mustafar civilians now have the correct icon.

* Pop Cap has been redone for all factions.

* Zann Consortium Palace now requires a level 2 starbase to be built.

* Officer Academy's are now limited to 4 max per planet.

* Torpedo launchers should now target transport units.

* Capturable land bunker HP has been doubled.

* Fixed an issue where the AI would build more than one End of Days hero unit.

* Raymus Antilles and the Sundered Heart will no longer spawn in The Conflict Begins GC.

* AT-AA rate of fire has been very slightly increased when using its flack pods.

* Wookiee Slave weapon hardpoint should now work correctly.

* Gargantuan Battle Platform can no longer be healed with a Bacta Station.

* All Starbases, Battlecruisers and Dreadnoughts have had their shield HP, shield refresh rate, energy HP and energy refresh rate boosted.

* Improved the lighting on the Bothawui GC and Skirmish maps.

* Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette proton torpedoes have been swap from the light version to the heavy version.

* Z-95 Headhunter Flight credit cost has been reduced. Was 250, is now 150.

* Providence-class Carrier has been moved from a level 3 starbase to level 4.

* The planet Tao-grant has been replaced for Ganash.

* T-47 Airspeeder has had its HP reduced by 20%. Was 190, is now 152.

* AAT-1 fire arcs have been improved and its main turret cannon has received a base damage buff.

* Planet corruption income has been reset to vanilla levels.

* Reek base damage per attack has been increased. Was 25 HP damage per attack, is now 40.

* The AT-AP can now be built on all planets with a Rebel Heavy Vehicle Factory, its unit cost in GC has been reduced from 300 to 270 credits, its unit cost in Skirmish has increase from 500 to 800 credits, its model texture has been improved, its upper and lower turrets can now turn independently and its footprints now show over soft surfaces.

* Alderaan land MP Skirmish map is no longer available.

* The Freerunner has lost its reflective armor and now has shields.

* The TIE Defender proton torpedoes have been swapped from heavy to the light version, its laser cannons base damage has been reduced and its Power to Weapons ability have been swapped to ion torpedo.

* Cantina's can now be built on planets with a favorite public opinion.

* Mustafar max land base structure slots has been increased by 1. Was max 5, is now 6.

* Fixed issues with Deltooine land map.

* The outer planet selection right has had its outer ring removed.

* Proton torpedoes now have slightly better tracking tracking capabilities.
