The year is 2011. The recent discovery of aliens startled the united nations, causing them to try to make peace. When the aliens destroyed thier troops, they cowared in fear and ordered the world to not rise up against these once science fictional creatures. America and other countries including Germany, England, New Iraq, and Australia have formed an alliance called the United Alliance. Now the united nations is fighting the united alliance in order to defeat them and force a withdrawal from the alien fronts. You play as a soldier from the United Alliance Marine Corps in the single player missions, fighting the aliens and united nations alliances at the same time. In the multiplayer missions you play as one of the three forces. Who will win this Civil war of the worlds? You decide.

Gameplay-

-Interactive map set-ups- triggers on certain maps will allow the game to be more epic..for instance you walk into a room and you hear something break and a guy falls from the celing and crashes down into things. Triggered explosions for a spook factor. Random creepy alien grunts and moans in hive territory. Use of ragdoll physics to create a more epic game play.

-No true crosshairs on the screen, you have a laser to use for aiming which can be turned off for steath, but you lose your aim and have to randomly fire and hope to hit things. Flash light is also availabe but dims the laser if both are used at the same time, plus the light and laser both give away your position, requireing stratigical planning and stealth action.

-THE PODS- when aliens die they, instead of going to spectator mode for a while, are reincarnated and must wait for a few seconds to regenerate in a pod at their base. You can look out of the pod thru the clear outer shell and see all around the alien base. When time to spawn you click the attack button and the alien actually cuts himself out of the pod, somewhat like a cut scene.

-THE HIVE- Certain hive modes will be activated on some maps, where the aliens must kill and drag UA and UN soldiers bodies back to the hive to keep it alive. The faster the aliens rake in bodies the faster you regenerate in the pods. The main goal of the UA and UN is to destroy the HIVE and the pods. (The less pods there are the longer it takes for aliens to regenerate...yet once so many bodies have been fed to the hive it can regenerate and create more pods.) Pods continues to grow with every recieved body and expands outward giving the aliens an advantage and upgrades. Some types of aliens can carry UN and UA soldier on thier back of in their stomach making it easier to take back to the hive. Feeing the hive will not be a high priority so that it will still be fun but it keeps the aliens from making the game unfair.

-THE BASES- UN and UA bases will be similar, both will consist of an armory and health/shield regeneration area. A teleport area will also be added using the same concepts as the hive growth, the farther the UN and UA soldiers explore the more "strategic Points" they can control. Stratigic points can be use as a teleport area a health/shield hub, armory etc. As a UN or UA soldier the head of the UN or UA foundations will pay you with every kill you get which allows you to buy more equipment from the armory. You could get cash bonuses for destroying pods or enemy strategic points etc. The person on the UA or UN team with the highest kill count gets special status such as upgraded shields and access to better weapons.

Vehicles - Only UN and UA soldiers can drive vehicles. Most of the vehicles will be transport and or utility vehicles. Some special vehicles will give you ammo, health and other things. A vehicle will not explode unless hit in a vital area, adding realism. Hopping into the back of a vehical will look and feel realistic, the camera moves realistically in the first person view to the passenger or driver seat. When in the back of a truck with buddies they move around and act depressed, or scared. They may look up and sigh often, or something of that sort...to add war realism. Some vehicles will have machine guns attached or places to poke your gun out the side etc.

Weapons- The UN weapons will look somewhat modern, guns known to us today. UA however will use more futuristic and experimental guns such as lasers plasma and so on. The aliens will be in first/third person view showing the claws or teeth.

Stealth- Stealth will be a pretty big part of the game in some maps. It helps to keep really quiet so that you dont draw attention to yourself and get attacked. Long dark corridors and undergound tunnels will be included in many of the maps.

MAPS

AR_Desert- Large desert base- massive use of transport vehicals more than likely a three way map.

AR_Hometurf- All inside map- metalic areas-no vehicals-possibly some turrets- one on one team map

AR_Tunnel- Many underground tunnel water about ankle deep creating mass sound when sprinting.

... Am i stupid/confused, doesn't the UN CONSIST of troops from all western countries? Including usa, french, so what you are saying is that america is fighting themselves... i think you should work on your concept, i like it, but its not correct

Uggh, a coalition of Western troops fighting the UN instead of Aliens? Thats bordering on offensive.

Dont worry the mod is no were near dead :). We have just taken a break for a while and are now working harder than ever on it.
