Ages of the Federation is a new total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. This mod takes place in the Enterprise and Original series eras, focusing on the conflict between the early Federation and Klingon Empire. A resurgent Romulan Star Empire, angry and still licking its wounds after their defeat to Earth and her allies waits in the shadows, ready to take advantage of any of misstep by either the warring powers. The Xindi, new to the galactic stage are also eager to forge their own path.

With Denobula and its infrastructure serving as a jumping point, the Romulan fleet struck at the very heart of Coalition space. Only a few days after the fall of the Denobula Triaxa system, thirty-two Romulan warships dropped out of warp on the outskirts of the Sol system itself. While civilians ran for cover it became abundantly clear that Starfleet's dozen starships in the area would be insufficient to repel the Romulan assault. Starfleet had to hold the Romulans off until reinforcements could arrive.
Commodore Archer's task force had already been dispatched to engage the Romulans at Denobula. Answering Earth's call for aid, Archer turned his ships around and raced home, but would not arrive for several hours. Until then, Starfleet forces in the Sol system desperately fought to delay the Romulans, chasing and being chased around the moons of Neptune.
Enterprise NX-01 arrived just as Starfleet forces reached breaking point. With no choice but to withdraw past the Neptune perimeter, Starfleet's next plan was to mount a last stand near Mars. Seeing that Earth was on the brink of defeat, Archer's task force engaged the Romulans head on. The fresh Starfleet ships drew the Romulans' attention, just as Archer hoped.
The bulk of the Romulan fleet chased Archer's task force into the vicinity of Triton Station, an older space station built during Earth's early warp tests. Remotely accessing the station's main computer, Archer had the station's fusion reactor set to overload. The Romulans, focused on annihilating Starfleet, seemed not to notice the power surge as the reactor built up to detonation. After several minutes of fighting between the Romulans and Archer's forces, the station blew in a massive nuclear explosion, taking with it a sizeable portion of the Romulan fleet.
With victory snatched from their grasp, the remaining Romulan ships withdrew back to Denobula.

Ah, its a Yorktown class with a TOS Skin, like in Star Trek Legacy. it looks great! I really can't wait for this.
