Ahhh, what a beautiful ship. I'm going to assume this is the end of the Earth-Romulan war pictures and story's, and more 4 Year war.

It's the end of the Earth-Romulan War arc. Expect more about the growth of the Federation in its early years, as well as more 4YW.

When you finish the four years war will we see a beta or something, or is it a seperate thing from the dev process?

This is a separate thing but it's also a fun way to introduce new models and other art assets to our audience.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if a beta was available later this year. No promises, but given the rate of progress I wouldn't be surprised.

TNG, DS9 and VOY were the Treks of my childhood. I was in my late teens when TNE ended.

I was already in my twenties for Enterprise, I was so happy another series was coming on, And for a change, it was something which exceeded my expectations. Really sorry they canned it.

Description

Enterprise returns to her mission of peaceful exploration.

Negotiations with the Romulans were delicate - in order to achieve a lasting peace, the Romulans had to be allowed to keep their dignity. The Romulans were a vengeful people who saw their defeat as a humiliation. Further antagonising them almost guaranteed future conflict.

An official cease-fire was arranged in 2160 via subspace radio. With hostilities at an end, the Romulans demanded a buffer zone of neutral space to separate the Empire from the Coalition. The 'Neutral Zone' was established with both the Empire and the Coalition recognising a long stretch of space one lightyear wide, and accepting that violation of the zone by either side would constitute an act of war.

Their demands met and the negotiations concluded, the Romulans were not heard from again.

The Coalition was left alone. At peace for the first time in years, the leaders of the Coalition's worlds turned their eyes to the future. The current relationship between Earth, Vulcan, Andoria and Tellar had proven to be of great benefit, and not just in terms of mutual defence. Increased trade gave a significant economic boost to all the worlds of the Coalition, and the exchange of knowledge and ideas was a great boon to each world's individual scientific communities. Finally, and in some ways perhaps most significantly, increased exposure to each other's cultures led to a deeper understanding and improved relations between species, emphasising their similarities and allowing them to appreciate their differences. With the war over a feeling of shared destiny was felt by many across the Coalition.

In 2161 representatives of Coalition worlds gathered to discuss the formation of a new, unified government. Together they crafted a federated republic based on shared principles of democracy, personal liberty, rule of law, fair trade, scientific exchange, mutual security and humanitarian support.

They called it The United Federation of Planets.
