Acheron is an upcoming modification for Battlefield 2142. It aims to offer the players the ultimate Colonial Marines experience (within the limits of the Refractor engine).
However: "who still use [...] Windows 7"
I'm a bit intrigued by the "still", because Windows 7 still rocks i.m.o.
I dislike Windows 8 and 8.1, and Windows 10 wouldn't work on my 2007 Fujitsu S7210, because of the GPU.
People who use W7 will be fine, to be honest. I've played BF1942, BF: Vietnam and BF2 on my 2007 laptop (which has Windows 7 Ultimate, 32-bit). I even tried to make a map for BF2, and I barely installed the map editor.
Sadly, I wasn't able to make any progress because I didn't find any documentation and tutorials. Maybe I don't know where to look.
You should be asking yourself, what about the ones who still use Windows XP and Vista? XD
(Windows XP, though, is a pretty good OS for BF1942, BF:V, BF2, BF2142 etc.)
looks good enough to me. I advise 2K texture with some normalmaps.
P.s. Does model have moving magazine?
Thanks, I'll try to ...as soon as I find out how lol
And yeah - magazine, stock, charging grip and charging handle are all separate parts and can be moved.
And then a voice comes out from a cave:
"Don't forget us who play on 10-year-old laptops..."
No worries, I plan to make the "good enough for BF2142" level of quality. xD
Admer456 What about those who still use PCs running Windows 7?
Deathblade100 Good question.

Admer456 I was messing around. My PC runs Win7, but my Acer Laptop runs Win10 and the updates take up more space then they need to.
Oh, lol. That's what I get for taking things so seriously.
My 2007 laptop runs W7 like a charm. :3
But because of its GPU, I doubt it would support Windows 10 so well. I think I should either downgrade to Windows XP or do a dual-boot setup.
Just thank God that I'm not running Windows Vista. It came preinstalled on the laptop, but the previous owner installed W7 on it. How nice of him. :)
