This is a Half-Life 2 total conversion. It's a mod based strongly on Diablo 1 with the style of gameplay in Diablo 2. I always felt Diablo 1 had the better story and atmosphere, but Diablo 2 had the better gameplay and more useful features. In this mod, we're attempting to pull together the best of both of the games to bring the player into a truly download worthy mod. The story will be recreated from scratch and will be based loosely on the Diablo 1 story. This story will be entirely new and is not meant to affect the outcome of either Diablo 1, Diablo 2, or any of the Diablo novels or upcoming games (Diablo 3). We Will Not Release Crap

The user Spartan11793 has decided to continue Abaddon in my place. This should be my last news posting but I'll keep watching the mod. Since I'm not doing the mod anymore, that means there is absolutely no programmer anymore, so all you programmers looking for a mod to take part in, contact spartan11793.

And just to let everyone know i have next to no experience in modding I just took over so this mod wouldn't die.so if there is some1 more experienced who would like to take please tell me or dremth.
Say, Just wondering where this all leaves me. I was a mapper, but after dremth said he wasn't working on this anymore I kinda deleted everything I had made for abbadon. Do you still want me on as a mapper? Or should I just go on my way and work on my other projects?

you may not get a reply from him for a a little bit because he recently had a death in his family. i dont know if he wants me to find a new leader or not.
well, he said that we should probably find someone else to lead the mod. i'm guessing that it should be someone that is already in the mod team. you should discuss it with some of the ppl on steam. if you dont know who all is in the dev team, then just look on the abaddon group page on steam. counterstrike911 seems to be the most active since ive talked to him the most. but if you dont find a leader soon, everything will just fall apart if it hasnt already.
Well if nothing else I can lead the mod for a short while till we find a new leader. But most work would be on maps and models till we find a coder.
