This is a Half-Life 2 total conversion. It's a mod based strongly on Diablo 1 with the style of gameplay in Diablo 2. I always felt Diablo 1 had the better story and atmosphere, but Diablo 2 had the better gameplay and more useful features. In this mod, we're attempting to pull together the best of both of the games to bring the player into a truly download worthy mod. The story will be recreated from scratch and will be based loosely on the Diablo 1 story. This story will be entirely new and is not meant to affect the outcome of either Diablo 1, Diablo 2, or any of the Diablo novels or upcoming games (Diablo 3). We Will Not Release Crap

The user Spartan11793 has decided to continue Abaddon in my place. This should be my last news posting but I'll keep watching the mod. D3 may be coming out but in how long.when they said SC2 would be coming out when they announced it but it took them a hell of a lot longer then they said it would be. looks like i gotta go find another rpg mod T_T.
aww, dont bomb this mod just cause of D3. I really wanted this to come out :(
but why play this mod when you could play diablo 3? plus i'm fed up with developing for the source engine. it's overly difficult to do such simple things when it shouldn't have to be. i guess the unreal 3 engine has spoiled me. since im not going to be leading this mod anymore i might try doing some mods for the unreal engine. maybe one day when blizzard has stopped doing diablo games, i'll start up abaddon again if no one else has.
