Think you could do this with the FAL as well? I think the vanilla anomaly FAL is pretty horrible and the other FAL mod is horribly outdated. I think the newer FAL would be a whole lot better.
This is great, but I highly recommend making the actual "scope" part fully black (or at least another version), as using this at night would have the scope be improperly lit, since its just a texture file after all.
Please remove the Psuedogeist, its the worst mutant in the game, barely functional, instakills you, terrible.

While you arent required to make a preview for your mod, the attitude given to people for expecting a pretty common and standard thing is quite nasty.

Played with this for about 12 hours today and I have some feedback.
Very cool.
I think the volume is a too loud, given that its basically non-3d audio, I think you should go for a more muffled approach to make its placement vague and immersive and not feel like its crows in your ears.
I think the blowout wave should happen even faster still, faster than the 40 seconds sooner. The crows are indication enough to be careful. You get so much pre-warning with the birds, that its a bit too easy to avoid, imo.
I dunno if youd be willing to improve this further, I think its a great idea, but I want to see emissions be made more dangerous with some speed changes to the blowout and the way you present the sound effects. I find it pretty easy most of the time to find safety.
Think you can make a version of this where there are more bounty squads after you, but with your "dont get killed in your sleep" fixes? I have literally never seen/never noticed a bounty squad in all my time of playing and ive been a legendary stalker on more than one occasion. Id love to bump up this difficulty aspect.
I dont have any distain for women, but this mod is so horribly out of place. Couldnt you just add random female stalkers into the pool of already existing stalkers (if you need it that bad)?
I like the crazy editions effects, especially on the muzzleflashes, but in almost every case with grenades and even bullet impacts, theres way way too much smoke.

Can you make it so this works for the non-animated items as well? Items without these animations still take off the mask.
Upgraded Kevlar and Carbon Plates should not be purchasable, they are rare pieces of equipment and buying them is way too powerful
Those scopes take up the whole ******* screen.
At some point, my game stopped having emissions of all types and it just gives me the message that they happened, rather than letting them actually happen.

Got a crash with this when I was in radars interior, turning off the brain scorcher. I checked the log and it was linked to nocturnal mutants, probably when it became night time.
Hey, just tried this mod and I do like what its doing and the impact on the game, however there are some things im concerned about that id like an explanation for, as well as feedback on it currently.
I like the respawning (as far as cordon is going, I havent given it an honest full playthrough). I like how the mod tells you the money youve lost and I like how this encourages you to live with your consequences rather than just reload your saves over and over.
I do not like the new starting gear, and starting with multiple guns, this is a negative change in my opinion. I do not like how it deletes my saves after respawning because sometimes a bug just happens and I like to have the option to go back when that happens. This is still the xray engine after all, sometimes things just dont work.
Id like to know what happens to items after my respawn and how this affects quest-important items such as the psy-helmet or package deliveries.
How are respawn points set? Could stashes or other means of dropping gear be made?
I think itd be neat if you dropped a lootable stash when you died, so that if you died to mutants, your gear might be left over and recoverable (maybe with durability damage) and if you died to stalkers, its very likely in their possession.
Hey, I really like this mod and I appreciate it and what it does for the pacing, since you arent constantly reloading your save when something bad happens or you die.
Id like to suggest some things.
Beyond just make it more stable and less buggy, id like to see a feature added that accelerates time by a day or two, so that when you respawn, you are a day or two in the future. This could allow NPCs to move around, mutants and squads to respawn and allow the game to be sort of "repopulated", same with jobs if you need to get money again.
Thanks very much. I want to see save reloading discouraged/disabled in every way possible as I think it really ruins the feel of Stalker, but the game doesnt really support that without mods like this.
I have a quite powerful PC, running a 2080ti and an 8700k and the labs are simply unplayable, reaching as low as 2fps. The level of mutants in these are absolutely unplayable and im not quite sure what made you decide to allow that many to spawn.
Thats to say the 20 psuedogiants parading around yantar were playable in the first place...

Theres no way to mimic the refraction effect on the edges of the mask due to the technical limitations. Personally the xray engine just isnt worth the effort and im baffled to this day the amount of support stalker has on its original engine.
If youd like to, feel free. As right as you are, I just whipped this together for me and then decided to upload it incase someone else was bugged by the same thing I was.
This is a suggestion, but maybe an option to outline the area you can see, its a bit hard to see in the daytime.
