Nice HK 416, its about the newest weapon HK has released (not working on, but released), and yet hardly any games or mods I've seen include it (the 2nd one that epidemic posted as "ultra ribbed" - its called a "Rail Integration System" or "RIS" for future reference)

aside from saying how good it looks, I gotta say it sounds more like Ray Bradbury's old book "Fahrenheit 451"

and its one BIG, HUGE, MASSIVE CANNON. last I knew armies only issued up to 50cal for ground troops, but apparently the NTW-20 comes in 2 sizes 14.5mm (bigger than 50cal/12.7mm), and the humongous 20mm isnt even meant for anything at all like taking out indivual people, that now apparently mere task would be like dropping a half-million dollar smart bomb to take out a foot powered bicycle. The munitions this beast uses is apparently World War 2 anti-aircraft shells, and the rifle is supposedly used for parked planes, helos, and command equipment (radar, fuel dumps, ect).

I'm not sure how it works exactly (if its like steam I still have no idea since I dont have HL2) but my guess would be to have it remember which games you have installed and auto-notify you when new mods and patchs come out

it could probably be done on a website and have you check off which games you have, store it in a database, and mark each new mod or patch with the game's identifier on which ever site does it and have a page tell the user (thru their browser) which new ones are out

granted I'm not sure how to code that (I suppose PHP?) but thats my general guess.

ya it a brit, but they r also one of Americas biggest allies, so any request for UN or NATO help would like mean major US and Brit forces.

on the side, im not sure if the brits sell their jets, but they probly do, although the French Dassault Avation group is more likely to sell to foreign powers (the mirage series, rafael, ect.)

again on the side, germany and the rest of europe would probly be usin either those french jets, Saab's JAS-39 Gripen, or the Typhoon Eurofighter

u could slightly improve your site by dl a trial of macromedia flash (unless your lucky enough to have it already) and copy your existing blood drenched nav buttons and make em slightly lighter, darker, ect. on mouse hover (ah the joys of Flash)

if i remember right, youre not supposed to diss somebodys mod in their forum, stated when u register at moddb (fars i remember)

I got ace combat 2 through 5, and every one of em is awsome, its cool to see the aspect from a different perspective though.

even though i dont have any of the command and conquer games, im sure this'll be a good mod.

if only somebody made an ace combat mod for my beloved battlefield nam'...

was watching future guns show on military channel (discovery), n they showed something like that render, except it wasnt 50 cal, but instead a GMG (grendade machine gun) firing ABGs (airbursting grenades), the same as the M29 is supposed to use (25mm)

if you havent visited any actual game publisher and official game sites, they have these types of calculators to see if you are infact old enough to be buying such rated games. the reason they do this is because then the site owners can say that they did every thing they reasonably could without throwing away legitimate (old enough) customers. if the visitor decides to lie about their age to browse the site, it is their fault for ANY POSSIBLE LEGAL REPERCUSSIONS.

BASICALLY: THE AGE CALCULATORS ARE WHAT KEEP SITE OWNERS FROM GETTING SUED (lawyers could still try, but it should be at least a little bit harder)

doesnt matter what game the mods gonna be for, I've been waitin for a Fallout (by Interplay) themed mod since I got fallout 1 n 2.
be great if you guys could model it so you can shoot people n blow out their stomach/ribcage.... ooohhhh... Long live the Vault Dweller!!!
