Love Chaos Dwarves, but I play as pirates almost every single time. If we still have access to the pirate units through mercs or prisoners, I guess it's worth it.

Everytime I try to run the mod EXE it crashes and gives an exception c0000005. The game runs in vanilla, and 1.0 of Expanding Fronts works fine.
Replacing the exe with the 1.0 version does make it launch as some others have mentioned in this thread, with no ability to change resolution. Install doesn't appear to come with configurator.exe either.
If there are any other details I can provide please let me know
To be clear, game launches fine without mod, as well as old version of the mod.
Separating the Geonosians and the CIS? I've been waiting 14 years for that, stupid termites ruining sweet robot aesthetic.
x2.exe crashes instantly with "-has stopped working" dialogue, configurator button doesn't open anything. Please halp. have now tried installer and archive with clean reinstalls and it's definitely been in the correct path each time. win7 x64
Curse of the RTS halo mod man. Ever since the Slipstream Productions team received that cease and desist, no halo mod has made it to a proper state of completion.
When I realized there was some sort of penguin-whale, and it was a pretender. That's when I knew this mod was for me.
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. Just added a few years of replayability to my game.
Likewise. Haven't seen a mod look this good since a certain generals mod I'll leave unnamed.
Sorry, is that a Necron Monolith?
It's a shame I wasn't a fan of either B5 or SG:SG1, because then the other two very well-made mods you were involved with might be enough for me. The changes described by this mod represent my perfect game, and if it had been released it would've been more exciting to me than the announcement of an entire Nexus series.
I don't know if you came up against technical difficulties, or destroyed all your progress in a drunken rage, or simply tired of working on this mod alone (as far as I can tell). But if you were to release the mod even in an incomplete alpha form, I know that at least a few dozen people would be excited about it even now. At least, those of us who weren't on the ball enough to seek Alpha entry. Obviously that's your prerogative, I know how I feel about people seeing my incomplete work.
As far as I'm concerned, to date Nexus is still the final word in tactical space sims, and to add a macro element to that gameplay would make anew a game that has already aged exceedingly well. It might be beyond possibility that this mod is ever revived, but...
THINK ABOUT IT.
