As for the Building the right idea could be the Maschio (or Mastio) Angioino, a castle built by the french in the 13th century (after the Battle of Benevento) but whose famous white marble façade was built by order of Alphonse of Aragona.
it's probably the most interesting renaissance building in the whole city.
