Really? It doesn't works, because steam launchs Empire at war, through the link, but not the Forces of Corruption.

You have to run it through the steam menu and also go to set launch options and put in the box sweaw MODPATH=Mods\The_Clone_Wars_Demo

Even then lad, there are some of us that are having difficulty running it after that extra part. It still demands a CD of some kind. :/

Guys, it's not that hard. You need to open up the steam menu then go to your game library, select Star Wars Empire at War Gold Pack, right click, select properties, click local files then hit the browse local file button. Move the Mods folder into your vanilla corruption folder then go back to the properties box. Go to the general tab, click on the Set Launch Options button and type verbatim:

sweaw MODPATH=Mods\The_Clone_Wars_IV

sweaw MODPATH=Mods\The_Clone_Wars_Demo if you're trying the demo.

Click OK then close the properties window, hit the play button on the steam menu for SWEAW, it'll come up with a new box that has Empire at War and Forces of Corruption, choose FoC and you're good.

When ever I try and click the shortcut privied(with the re-direction to the steam folders added in) all it seems to do is open the file location for the mod rather than actually run the game. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

You have to run it through the steam menu and also go to set launch options and put in the box sweaw MODPATH=Mods\The_Clone_Wars_Demo

BUT: use sweaw MODPATH=Mods\star_wars_clone_wars_iii
i think it will work

After following the guide, you need to right click on the game when it's listed on steam. You then click properties, and then launch options.

Once there, hit spacebar (DO NOT FORGET THIS) and then paste in:

MODPATH=Mods\The_Clone_Wars

Credits to: PvtMcKain:

The way to launch the mod is:

Steam Installation Instructions
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption
Create a mods folder if you don't have one
Unzip the mods files into your mods folder
Go to your empire at war gold pack in your steam library
click on the properties tab
click set launch options
put in "swfoc MODPATH=MODS/star_wars_clone_wars_IV" (without the quotes)
launch forces of corruption, enjoy!

So you have to put swfoc BEFORE the modpath!

I set the launch options in STEAM to MODPATH=Mods\star_wars_clone_wars_iV

That worked for me, after the "\" I just put the name of the folder that is inside the "Mods" folder, this fix should work for all EAW mods in STEAM.

Ok, so this is my problem, and idk if anyone else has fixed this problem. But it keeps saying that the mod; swfoc_clone_wars_iv_mod.exe, has an incorrect mod path. I can't seem to figure out what to do and it seems like anyone who had the same issue as me was simply pushed to the side. So what do you do? whats the start in, target, or w.e of everyone else?

it states in the readme that the mod requires FOC to be patched to v1.1, STEAM refuse to allow patches due to FOC being relatively old, this is the problem most of you will find stopping the mod from starting, errors popping up everywhere...i hate to be the bearer of bad news but most steam users will not be able to play this mod...EVER unless the mod team for the clone wars mod release a new version that does not require v1.1, this is my solution but if anyone has any other solutions to get the 1.1 patch to work on steam or even get the mod to work on steam then let me know
