Well, what can I say, it injects life back into this skeleton of a game. The devs obviously care a lot about the game, and I'm glad, this is one of my favorite games, and we don't have many shark games today, so it's good to see effort still being put into the idea, even if it's an old game. Lots of new equipment is added, as well as a decent amount of new sharks, if you have Shark!, you should check this out for sure.

Well, this is an awesome game, let me just say that off the bat. It has wonderful visuals, great story, smooth gameplay as always, and the slo-mo diving and shooting has never felt better with the new Euphoria engine. And for once in a long time, it feels like it was made for PC, it isn't a ****** console port, it runs just fine on my high-end PC, which I couldn't say the same for about GTA IV. The Campaign may have been a bit short, but it makes up for it with it's expansive multiplayer, which isn't just a gimmick, it works, and it works well. It's tons of fun to dive out windows and shoot your friends in the face, and social club is actually helpful for gathering up friends and getting them in-game. The only reason I don't give it a 10 is because the modding capabilities of the previous games are gone, and that is something I would have like to see. Don't believe the critics, this game holds up to, and even surpasses the other games on most levels.

As far as a free to play mod comes, this is the best it can get, and it is one of the best zombie gaming experiences I have ever enjoyed.

Alright, it is one of the greatest F2P things ever, the pros in this mod heavily outweigh the cons. So let's start with the pros;

Great Story; was expecting it to be very similar to Afraid of Monsters, and while they do share certain qualities, it was still different enough that I was not expecting what was going to happen next.
Great Graphics; for GoldSRC, this is as good as it gets, and it's pretty good, I was amazed at how good it looked, and the effects were spectacular.
Gameplay; while a little inconsistent at times, overall it provided enough tension and action to satisfy someone who likes FPS and someone who likes survival horror, kind of like dead space. The controls worked wonderful for me and although the inventory system can be a little wonky, it provided a nice change. Gameplay was sometimes action packed, and then sometimes extremely slow, which helped build up the tension of what was to come next, my only complaint about the gameplay was the AI, if you hopped up some stairs they would often not follow you, and often times wouldn't follow you into new rooms. And now for the cons;

Voice acting; emotion in this was few and far between, and it seemed like the least amount of work was put into here.
Honestly, that seems about it, my other complaints with the mod were not big enough for me to elaborate on them, and as a mod, this is the best it can get, although if I were judging this as a full game, I would give it a Solid 8, still one of the best things I have ever played.

This is the mod I have been looking for. With SoC, I never really like the aspect of changing the core elements of the game, and this mod does not do it, it adds incredible graphics up to par with most modern games today and adds in many nifty features and small tweaks to give you an overall better SoC. This honestly feels like how the game should have been released, Artistpavel has done a tremendous job and I just can't state that enough. Definitely worth the download.

Probably one of the most creative and best sequels ever made. Took so many of what fans loved from Soc and CS and bundled it into one. Even without bug-fixing mods this game is the least bug free of all the bunch. It could have been a bit longer but as a vanilla game without mods it felt more polished than the two previous titles. Now with good mods coming out like S.M.R.T.E.R and Misery and Complete, it's definitely on my most watched mod list.
