Description

Phong and Normal treatments for Half-Life 2's Combine Soldier. I plan on writing a tutorial on VDC about the process one day, but that's a future project. For now, it's here for anyone to use as they see fit. It greatly increases the visual quality of the soldier but can cause noticeable drops in framerate when many are being drawn close to the camera.

You'd need to customise its VMTs for that. I've not looked into it yet, but there don't _seem_ to be any changes to the UV map.
