The Voice of the Lowlands, joined Feb 8, 2010

I love to study warfare and history in general, play with LEGOs, watch almost anything Sci-Fi, and experiment with various mods. I am a board game designer in spare time, when I'm not recording/editing the Matt & Zach Show or doing stuff with the gaming makeshift clan known as JSSG. My main project right now is March of the Reds; a strategy/tactical card game based on what would happen if the Cold War went hot in 1989. Also, Please refrain from profanity on my page, thank you! If you see a "Vadronus Prime" running around, that's my alternate gamer-tag. (Long version of Vader91 really) The Free Voice from Vegas Itself!

Yeah sure, would give me time to finish a few projects of mine, like my short stories. Hell, invite one of my friends over as well and it'll be a fun time out in the woods instead of in the urban desert Hell that is Las Vegas. There are many things that can be done without the internet.

Command and Conquer is one of my favorite game franchises, especially Generals/Zero Hour and Tiberium Wars.

The wallpaper is the "Virtues of JSSG" wallpaper I uploaded a few days ago. So yes, Integrity is there, lol.

Yeah, never fully understood this, though I believe Helicopters are coded as ground units, not air. Air requires a "base" to operate from.

Levitas-Pattern Rhino Transport

Though the League primarily uses the Diamondback for combat transport duties, the stalwart rhino is still used. The Levitas is actually a modernization of the Crusade-era Deimos Rhino instead of the standard Mars Pattern. ( ) As such it is equipped with two pintle-mounted bolters for defense. However this Rhino rarely sees combat; it is more used for logistical transport or artillery tractor. The armor was lightened alongside a massive engine overhaul; allowing the Levitas to out-run other Rhino variants while still hauling a sizable group of supplies or soldiers.

Rommel Command Land Raider

A unique vehicle in the League; this vehicle is the pinnacle of the League's technological development. Serving as the mobile command vehicle for the League's honor guard, the majority of the time this vehicle is not on the front lines. However, when it needs to get in the battle directly, nothing can stand against it. It is a good deal larger then a normal Land Raider, providing ample space for the command suite as well as supporting the numerous weapon systems. The armor is a rare composite typically only used on the League's command ships; Necrodermis-laced Ceramite armor. Between heavy plates of ceramite an incredibly thin layer of necrodermis (the element composing Necron bodies. The necrodermis is obviously a highly rare commodity that the League has acquired in minuscule amounts.). If the first layer of the armor is breached, the necrodermis lace moves to the area and hardens, forming something akin to a mechanical "scab," reinforcing the breach until repairs can be made.
Weapon wise the Rommel can shame even a Baneblade. Equipped with a high-caliber heavy bolter turret (front), a combi-lascannon/melta turret (not seen, behind bolter turret on the starboard side of the vehicle), 2 optimized plasma cannons (thank you fourth company), 2 twin-link heavy lascannons, 2 assault cannons, and a Simo-Pattern tactical missile system (a larger version of this system is on the Simo-pattern Whirlwind of the League. Essentially a WH40K Cruise missile launcher).
As a final trick, the Rommel can engage a powerful hover system for roughly 10 minutes using a gauss generator alongside numerous stabilizers reversed-engineered from a Necron Monolith. Though slower than an Astartes Land Speeder, the increased speed and maneuverability of this rolling fortress has caused whole Imperial Guard regiments to surrender upon seeing it.

Diamondback-Pattern Razorback IFV

The true workhorse of the League of Sovereigns, this vehicle is used as the main combat transport. Due to League tactics using fire-teams of 6-8 instead of full squads of 12 marines, the reduced carrying capacity of the original Razorback was no issue. The Diamondback features heavier armor and an overhauled engine design, allowing for longer independent deployments. The Diamondback is typically equipped with a mine-plow, 2 searchlights, a smoke grenade launcher, and a vox relay. The Diamond back has two side-mounted bolters as well as an interchangeable top turret. This particular one is equipped with a standard heavy bolter turret, though Diamondbacks can use a twin-linked Lascannon, Inferno Cannon, Multi-melta, or even a rare twin-linked gauss flayer for the turret.
