just made my first playthrough of this mission (looong overdue), and yeah both that guy and his buddy made my life a pain, so i reloaded a previous save, skipped that loot on my way up the stairs, and grabbed it on my way back down. no problem if they want to walk in circles waving swords around as long as i'm on my way out the cellar door when they do it :)

This room and its corresponding puzzles were soooo well designed.

I was somewhat miffed that I couldn't destroy the Heart in it, but meh. That bathroom was still pretty epic.

i've heard some people say they just crouch-walked right up to it, leaned towards it and grabbed it. That didn't work for me.
I found that a well-placed noisemaker arrow across the room does the trick, as long as you don't wait too long. Once they start scanning the area around the arrow, at least one of them is bound to be looking in your direction pretty much all the time.

that's right. Zombies were implemented for TDM for the sole purpose of winning moddb MOTY 2010!! It was a hopeless cause without them, but TDM now has ZOMBIES!! VOTE NOW!!!
