I'm really happy there's a Mac version ^_^
I'm really happy there's a Mac version ^_^
Glad to see you guys are progressing so quickly! When I first happened upon this game, I assumed it would take years to come out!
Very cool! I love what you're doing with this game
It looks really cool! Unfortunately, I'm a Mac user, but I'll keep watching this in case you release a version for mac. I'd be interested in seeing a gameplay video in the meantime :).
Hey! I'm glad you like it, this is a sort of "preview" for a longer game I'm working on, which is why it's so short.
I played and enjoyed it quite a bit! The graphics and music are awesome, and the controls are almost perfect. (Except I think a run button would make it a bit nicer.)
The only problem is, the levels are pretty same-y and not extremely engaging. I played until the third level, where I died, so that's just something to think about. I wasn't insanely addicted or anything. I think there's a really promising start here but I think you should add something to improve the excitement factor.
Like, what if, when you get the key, it's like Wario and you have to rush to the door, and maybe an alternate path is opened where certain blocks can be opened when you have the key. Just a thought, but I think it'd add a little more excitement
I wouldn't even know how to make a Linux version of my games. Sorry that you've been missing out a lot, Aljones
This game looks great, but the demo would not run :(
This is a pretty interesting concept, and I like the idea of the Princess mart. I'm looking forward to a demo
Mac OS, unfortunately. If you do find out more about that, let me know
This game looks really cool, especially graphically. Oh and did Matt Jordan really die by getting squashed by a giant beach ball?
This looks really interesting. I'd like to try it out!
Your graphics are sooo smooth. Looks awesome
This game looks awesome! Too bad you have to fuss around with makefiles and stuff. I have no idea how to do that!
So gorgeous! The poppies are a really cool touch
I LOVE this game. I played it all the way through on my mac years ago, and bought the wii version recently to play it again.
It looks really fun! And I'm glad there's a Mac version :)

I started making video games in Jr High after drawing them in my notebook with friends through all of gradeschool. When we were kids, we just made ripoffs of Super Mario and Pac-Man, and then one of my friends started to incorporate a lot of Final Fantasy and Zelda. We just drew them on paper and didn't believe we would ever be able to make them real. Then I found Game Maker and started making rip offs of other games, like Yoshi's Island and DK '94 that I made my brother and sister play again and again and again. I was inspired early on by weird games from the Game Maker forums like the LaLaLand series and games by Cactus. My games are a little arcade-y, a little old school, and always a little out there
