No, halo lay is not dead.... I am rebuilding every thing from the ground up correctly this time... If you want to know the progress of the engine then your going to be dosappointed when I say I havnt devoted time to the game for a while but the progress as a percentage then aprox. 25% done with code not to mention game elements, graphics, AI(worked on), and bug testing.... And I'm a 1 man team that has allot going on in real life... *cough* pot *caugh* jk xD but I will be back soon... May need some help here in a few weeks with some advanced code...

well there is a problem at the moment with my AI system... i want all bots (grunts) to be controlled by one AI block and havnt figured it out yet

I would have made a world less than 512X512 out of tiles and used a scroll function to scroll the bored arround and the camera is set abaove the player IMG... more code but way better pay off :) but so far i like what you are doing and i think it sould be a good game!

Some or a large portion of LUA games are filled with crap code and some are just concept works that need allot of work... mine dosnt need allot of work now that i have the base code almost finished up

ah i see and MP wont be worked on untill the Single player version comes out... An Alpha will be out soon with just the starting things like in the pictures but... Not sure about if ill have a grunt in game yet.. AI is a pain

Ha it's not totally dead... A lot of work to be done on this game and I have school work and a job so my time is vary minamal for this game... I mean I have done allot more than is shown on here but I can't release it on video because it would kill the story... Also the bugs and crap coding iv done is also vary anoying!!... I used to not use functions to clean up my code but iv found that I need them... Also o can't release source until I get the code cleaned up and there is 1,584 lines of code for world 1 (map1) and saving is a pain... Variables overlap in saving so it's a constant issue... It needs about a month of straight work!... I just have no time :( so stay with me and the game will be back up soon :) also my server is down so another reason I havnt released... And an online chat room is not far off :)
