I have some thought about making the Zone less of a sausage party. Many character models are actually very androgynous (you could not say if it's male or female). Therefore, simply allow voices for these models use Hip's audio files and viola! The zone is no longer the target of sexual-equality groups!

Hey just wanted to let you know that your magazine for the OTs-33 Pernach is set to the 18-round variant but the weapon file indicates that it should be 27 rounds. Not sure if you did this on purpose but just thought you should know in case you want to bring the default weapon-file value and your magazine value to parity.

First of all, just want to say what you've done here with this mod (if it's even right to call it that, more like a new game by today's standard) is nothing short of amazing! Everything has been improved and I absolutely love it.

And now, onto the bug reports! Haha. These are from version 1.5.0, 2.4b with the pistol/knife holster addon.

The stalker in the missing stalker missions seems to still move around normally when they are in another map. They start where bandits usually spawn but then move, resulting in the stalker needing to be collected from a nearby friendly base.

If you remove the anomalous activity measurer from your inventory after measuring the area for another stalker, the mission is terminated but you keep the device (I think this is what happened, I don't recall receiving a 'mission failed' notification).

Occasionally mutant spawns get stuck on me when I level transition. Doesn't seem to matter which level I transition to. Most of the time its rats which immediately run away (perhaps even the same rats spawning on me continually), but one time it was a controller and some tushkano which required several attempts before I managed to survive the level spawn. After dispatching them the controller/tushkano didn't spawn on me.

Yeah weapon damages are stupid cost to fix; you're best to fix them yourself with a toolkit. Think of it like the cost diff between fixing up a gun yourself and buying it new.

The installer is in Russian. Seems to be just the way it is. Default options are fine, leave them alone (unless you want to install to a different directory which you should be able to figure out).

I suspect we (the English community) got pretty lucky that the English translation came out shortly before the 0.98b release, which changed quite a bit from 0.98a. Could be long periods between updates for these guys, who knows >.> (Can somebody who's been following the Russian version comment on this?)

You are going to need either a fully-upgraded Sunrise + black gasmask, or get an oxygen tank (from 100 Rads). Equipment not designed for the caustic chemical environment will quickly degrade, you need to be careful!

As for Doc, he is a hard one to track down, but I find him most often near the Clear Sky base (although I once found him by the bridge in Cordon!) Spend a few days doing jobs between Cordon and Swamps, check in and around the Clear Sky base, and he may show up. Unfortunately, he is not invincible, and may have been killed somewhere in the marshes or elsewhere (in which case you can get the missions by searching his body).

This may be due to the fact that you start off neutral with bandits. You gotta kill quite a few of them before they become enemy towards you. It also seems to affect the range at which they will 'agro' so the more they hate you, the further away they will start shooting. This has been my experience.

In 0.98a you could have the defects fixed for free, but in the 0.98b update the defects cost to repair. Generally, it is far cheaper to use a toolkit and repair defects yourself but you must learn which toolkits repair which defects! Also, presently all defects cost the same to fix, so it can cost you 6000 ru just to have a dirty spring cleaned (or do it yourself with a cleaning kit for 500 ru).

Definitely agree. The weapon parts damaging seems like more than enough to replace the sliding weapon condition scale. But they also need to have varying prices to repair (a replacement stock costs the same as cleaning the barrel which is absurd).

Is there something wrong with lab X-18? First code works fine but I can't open the second door. I thought it might be because the poltergeist was barring the door, but if I kill the poltergeist the objects are constantly flung at me (whereas when the poltergeist is alive I can low crouch walk and nothing happens), resulting in my quick death.

Yeah but then you can run off and do something else or sleep and when you come back several upgrades have been finished (rather than waiting 30 minutes and then resubmitting, so you have to stick around).

[Feature request] Queue multiple upgrades for a single item!

[Bugs]
* Capture enemy combatant (military quest) has no target.
* Tushkano get the anomaly effect stuck on them (electricity, purple cloud, etc)
* Offline movement of NPCs is so fast it is sometimes impossible to track them (even sprinting across maps).
* NPCs regularly will walk away when I'm talking to them or trading.

* Achieved friend status with loners, recruited some guys, one died and I lost the status. Regained it but nobody will follow me anymore. Also befriended clear sky but I still cannot recruit them, either.
* At Agroprom military base, in building behind the trader with the fireplace, I could not light the fire but it would consume matches.

* New AKMS developed deformed hammer after only using 3 clips of good ammo, condition was 98% but cost $6k to fix!! (perhaps random bad luck?)
* Duty trader no longer has good knives or shotguns (perhaps intentional?)

[Whinge] Dark Valley; Sneak past pseudogiant to assassinate a guy, by some miracle avoid the beast on return. Something like 15th try. Save upon return, quit game. Next load, save game CTD. Time for 15 more tries, I suppose ;P

0.9.8b bugs:
* Military map use sometimes causes CTD
* Duty checkpoint (Garbage) door gets stuck closed.
* All bandits in hangar (Garbage) had 100% condition equipment. Next save resulted in CTD.
* Cooked pseudodog meat with cooking set, produced rat skewers.
* Companions transition (from Dark Valley to Truck Cemetery) into bottom-left corner of map, not with player.
* Search & Rescue missions are still broken.
