Yeah the SDK is labeled as MP Sdk but with the xrAI.exe and some tweaks it works as full SP SDK with all features it has^^

Terrains etc. you need to do in maya before but you dont need to struggle with aiwrapper, ACDC and tools like this anymore so it´s very easier than before...

Yes, they remaking Half Life 1 for Source Engine and Valve had contact with the Team but they Support them on the Mod, so i dont think it´s Illegal, huh?

Porting the Models to another Game isnt Illegal or Legal. it´s a grey-zone, but if nobody makes money with that models no Game-Studio interests for it.....

Maybe dumb Question and i say sorry now but in my opion the old R2 looks way better and more atmospheric then Old and Final R1 + Final R2.
I think you know the 2232 Thread on Gameinator and i was close before to **** my pants as i saw the R2 Screens of X18. In Addition the whole Renderering looks better then in Final.....

The Vehicle Code is definitly a dll hack Made by Kolmogor, i use it, so i know^^.
I mean, the Vehicle Code wasnt complete Cut in Vanilla CoP but it was destroyed. Vehicles were´nt usable when spawned, they´re just standing there and pow, that was all. With Kolmogor´s dll Hack you can enter them again like in SoC & CS...

Is Dez0wave or any other one you guys know working on a dll Hack to bring the Old Grass Shadow´s back? Invasion Team started a Try a few month´s ago but failed in lack of programming-skills. We had a working Alpha but it ran only with the Custom-maps because Patch 1.0004 made big changes to the Scripting-System how you know and playing the Maingame with our Alpha made Problems without end...
The Problem was that our Alpha ran on a slightly modificated 1.0003 xrGame.dll. Do or did anyone tried to take the Code for the Grass-shadow´s our of the xrGame.dll or the xrRenderX.dll´s to port it to 1.0004? Because i would love it to see them back, they were just so sweet and atmospheric, and the russian made it to take the Vehicle Code from SoC or CS and ported it in CoP and this step is very similar to the Grass Shadow thing....

Why would Arsenal Destroy LA Atmo? I mean this is not a comment to Dez to integrate it but why do you Guys think it will be bad as Addon?
Ich mean, OK the 50 AK´s are useless, when i would make it i would throw all but one out.

But what would so bad to replace all Guns with Arsenal meshes, textures and sounds and add some chosen from Arsenal. Like AK-47, Sig SG552, most Pistols, PPsh-41 and so on...
Integrating means not just merging that **** together and leave it unbalanced and unlogic. add most Guns but make it fit´s, loners and beginners use AK47´s, Pistol´s, PPsh´s, Shotguns because they´re cheap, special forces use SG552, M4A1, Groza OC14, AS VAL and so on, Bandit´s use MP5, Pistol´s, PPsh´s, AK74´s becuase they can´t get better gear and so on...
When the placement of all Guns is right and the Prototypes or uncommen weapons are placed really really rarely then it´s fine. OK, it needs much more work then just merging but when it´s made right, why not?
I would appreciate it, and i think i will make this when LA is out!

@Chezzler: Yeah, there are Detectors but they are not like in CS&CoP.
They are just items that have to be blaced on bolt for function. Than they will mark Anomaly´s on your Minimap, nothing more when Dez didn´t made a new "über" thing...

Not Really, it´s just unlogic to stand directly INFRONT of an Artifact and you can´t see or grab it until you take your Detector out.
Bette where when they make the Artifacts damn small and slightly sligthly visible so that you still can search without Detector but only FIND enough when using one.

And that the CS&CoP System doesnt work in SoC is more Mesh then Script-related. CS and CoP uses a complete new Animation-System that allows the game to takte one Hand from the Gun away for Detectors. they got they´re own Animation. So it can be understood as the Animations are not 100% Strict. in SoC you have complete Strict animations, the old System. so you can´t make a left-handed Detector and just add it. It had to be included in every single Weapon-mesh wich would need reanimating all weapons inclusive the new detectors and then you have to write the Scripts for it. To do the Detector Feature in SoC you have to take about 20 heavy Step´s for getting the Sys only for ONE Gun working, for all? Let´s just don´t talk about it, ok?.

And that´s all Theory, nobody tried it because of that much work for not much win.

The only Country i believe where the Stalker-Scene is booming is Russia, in the Rest of the World Stalker is dying out slowly...

Yeah but it´s not much work to take the Arsenal meshes, textures, and sounds, place them into the LA Gamedata and edit the ltx Files of the Guns so they use the Arsenal Models. There´s no need to edit the Upgrade-Sys or sometinhg. It´s just model replacement. And that´s easy...
