OK, so Battlefront 2 (2nd) is out. Its OK, getting tolerable. Not worth £55 (I got in sail for £20). But even so there is a gaping whole in my life where a game filled with love and attention should be. ARE YOU ALIVE!??!?!

No kidding on the sweat FX. Will you be adding any atmospheric fog/clouds similar to the BF3 alpha footage, obviously the engine isn't as advanced but I think you could use texture plains. (I did post this on an old image but I figured you probably don't look through old ones so I decided to repost).

Are you able to use texture planes or something to add clouds and fog. I just feel it would be more atmospheric and make distance parts seem better. I would suggest volumetric fog but I don't think that BF2 can support that. Obviously this kind of thing is late stage and I would expect you to get there any time soon but I just thought I would suggest it while I was thinking about it.

This looks cool, are you making models for all units, or just GCW? Also the shadow trouper thing, would you consider using a death trooper model instead?

Is this how it will actually look, or will it go down point first? Also can you add fog/clouds to the atmospheric transitions because you can see the ships from the ground and they seem too close. Also unrelated to the picture what is happening with the tower, that sticks up out of the atmosphere, on Corucant?

Anyone else having crash issues when playing icebound and broken paradise? on icebound there is a second set of weapon icons covering half the screen and in both after a short while of playing the textures stretch and glitch all over the screen. I don't get this problem with any other maps.

Um I was just wondering when, if at all, you are going to release the Rezzed Endor map shown in the pics? Sorry if someone already ask/its already answered.

Im not getting flickering issues with the latest version but I do have the issue that the Hoth map and any custom map that uses it as a base, go dark (almost black, with all of the colours inverted). This is only occurring on Hoth based maps as Mygeto (also white and snowy) is fine. I have a suspicion its to do with lighting or some sort of effect that the game makers used only on Hoth. I know a lot of people have been bringing it to your attention an I'm not trying to pester, just thought i could help narrow to search to Hoth only assets as they are the ones causing the issue (in my opinion).

It was going to the Star Wars Battlefront II folder just in the Lucas arts one yes you said to check and i did but didn't click on the new file cus im dumb so it didn't update to a new loction. IM DUMB!!!!!! BUT I DONT CARE CUS IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so i definitely read and did everything said in the installer but i don't see any readme. Should there be more files than just "BattlefrontIIILegacyOpenBeta.exe" when I dl this mod?

Yeah it is extracting to the right location but still nothing. I didn't have the 1.3 patch installed correctly but now i definitely do and nothing. I really want to play this mod but I'm not sure what else could be wrong.

Well the 1.3 patch wasn't installed properly. So thanks for that. It was pathed to the right place but still nothing. No new map. I went through 1 at a time and nothing. Thanks anyway.

Ok so they should be colour yellow (have in the past). I'm reinstalling 1.3 patch and I'll double check the pathing. Fingers crossed.

Um can anyone help me on how to install this mod? I've downloaded it, run it, it says that it finished but when I run the game nothing has changed/been added, and there is nothing new in the battlefrontii\gamedata\addon folders. What should I see? Should it be downloading an exe? Can someone help ples?

Not to bother you but is there a ETA on the beta? Also I've noticed in you videos that the larger ships textures look a bit fuzzy and when you get close to them they have a bubbly surface, will there be any texture work done to these and other assets later in development?
