finally in college and the same old RTS addict that i am. been modding for C&C3 tiberium wars lately, and doing some a little step up in challenging myself in 3d modelling. from doing tanks i currently am modelling gundams, in the hopes of being able to establish a gundam-based game on the UDK after i master animation and texturing ;) but i doubt that's gonna be any time soon..

this will be for the chinese. a long range napalm artillery system able to create firestorms in a single barrage of 5 shells. it will have 2 modes: barrage- fire 3 shells at a time and Bombard- fire at a steady rate of 1 shell every 2 seconds. and can be upgraded with computer autoloader- which will give it a firing speed of 1 shell per second.

relax, it's only 1300 polys. each tread is 154 polys, which means that the major contributor is the body and the turret.
okay,each one is 154 poly...if you make 2d each one can be less than 100.btw,i see other poly enemy...cylinders with much sides :)
okay,but forgeting polys,his size is compareted with a overlord?if is smaller than the overlord you can make just two treads(i see that you are a fan of 4 treads tanks :D)
[edit] with 3D treads is more difficult for make textures.
that thing is as big as the overlord. and yeah, i'm a fan of 4 treaded tanks, because they just look awesome!! especially that 4 treaded crudsader in ROTR 1.5, and the sentinel and the overlord!! simply epic!
hehe,4 treads...huh...they are great...BUT...waste more polys :D
(i know,i will be ******* you off until you make a model with 2d treads and with a good poly count :D)
