After getting to grips with Max Payne's modding tools over the years, I moved on to Worldcraft for Half Life and then Hammer for Source. I'm not part of any modding team, I just like to create custom content for my games in my spare time. I hope you enjoy it. :)
Yeah.. I was supposed to be trying out other models but I just couldn't help making this awesome shotgun. It happens to be the same model used by Kyle Reese in The Terminator so it'll protect you against the average T-800.
It didn't take too long to make, simple shapes again. I've had a hard time trying to find a photograph of the shell ejector underneath this gun, so I may have to make it up and just hope it looks authentic enough. Not sure what games I'm going to put it in, but I'll probably have a go at Half Life 2 this time.
Made the textures myself, rather than using the photographic method that I did for my first Mossberg 500. Quite happy with the result, but I definitely need to make something other than guns now.. If I can.
Still alive?
i think max freeman needs kung fu!!! just for fun... lol
of and can you please also make the bat into a crowbar thanks
It's a shame you couldn't finish off Classic Payne, but you did a really good job and the concept was awesome.
Thanks so much for putting the files up, I won't be the one to finish it off (Limited talent lol) but I'm sure someone will pick up from where you left and do the Max Payne community proud...
Of course, who knows, maybe you will pick it up again at a later date?
Yeah like I say, I might finish it one day. I just didn't want to keep people waiting for an unreasonable amount of time so I released all the models. That way people can still enjoy what little I had already made.
Hopefully with what I'm learning now, my next effort at Classic Payne will be even better. Whenever that may be.. :)
YOU FINNALLY FINISH THE CLASSIC PAYNE MOD CONGRATULATION !!!
Nah, I just got asked to post it, so i've uploaded the files left over that anyone can use. Max Payne 2 stopped working for some reason on my PC, but I might try and fix it to finish Classic Payne some day.
Hey I just tried out your mod, its really nice. I was just wondering if you could provide a down to earth, idiot proof guide on how you injected those models into Max Payne? I understand it may take some time to write one and..make sure its clear and all but it would really help everyone to do some really fun stuff.
Yeah, I was thinking about doing that anyway, there's not that many tutorials around for Max Payne anymore and it took me a while to get the process down.
I'll start writing it up now, it shouldn't take too long, just need somewhere to host it.
Hello.
Just wanted to let you know that your mod has been mirrored over on AtomicGamer.
