I found a bug. In Episode 1 after entering medical labs and taking the elevator up to Examination, it is possible to become stuck by Dr. Nielson while reading his laptop. The doctor can enter afterwards and walks straight to the laptop. If you're already there you become pinned in place no way around due to the exam table and screen partition. NOCLIP in the console enabled escape.

BTW, I am loving this. It's obviously a labor of love and detail. It's incredible to see this much detail in D3 and I wish the original game had these touches of narration, ambiance, and detail. Thank you.

Ah, that was it! I had D3 installed and kept launching RoE from the Steam store page which (incorrectly) showed the XP as installed due to Steam only checking that Doom3.exe was present (& due to the way D3 handles expansions/mods). Now the RoE XP is installed too. Thank you.

I keep receiving error. How do I fix?

I'm stuck in the next area. I've crawled through the car and approached the elevator/mine shift but I can't find a way to ascend. Judging by the enemies in this room/cavern, I believe it is part of the main path.

The use of lighting is well done and adds to the tension. There were only a couple of moments in Alpha 5 that showed it off. I hope to see more scenes use it in the final release!

I loved this level. The detail is terrific. Upon later reflection, I'm not sure this fellow's house looks like one someone would actually live in.. It's a bit of a dirt shack. At the time this thought didn't occur to me but I can't shake it now. ;)

Yeah. I had that same problem. I ended up using Task Manager (ctrl+alt+del) to force Half-Life 2 to close. It seems to hang between Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. Just start a new game on Chapter 2 to skip past the problem.

Awesome work.. -reminds me of Quake 2 but with much more details.

I know! Just the thought of it makes me ;( hardcore!
