Well battelboy, I figure you havent been up close with a shambler, and then smacked its skull in with the sledge hammer? I tell you, ONE hit to the face and they are blown several feets back :P My only prob w/ the melee weapons is that the animations dont work that well yet, and sometimes it freezes and becomes useless for a couple of seconds.. Other than that ZM is, in general, an amazing mod! :D

Dont get me wrong, I respect your work and all. And I know that you are not in any way obliagted to make the release, but for future notice please do not throw out a release deadline and the exeed by a week + (at this point..)
Yourve stated that you are busy at the moment, and thats cool, but if you are not sure if youll have the time required for a upload then please say nothing at all. Its just sort of frustrating when you write "Dont wory, itll be released in 5 days tops!". Then X number of people starts doing the damn reinstall of MP2 and then nothing happens.. I respect if you just lacking in sparetime, but it takes approx 5 minutes out of my life just to come in here and check.. :) See where im going?
When you think about it its actually kind of impressive.. You are able to make x number of normaly non geeks (Like me) jump up and down while clapping in our small hands everytime you make a statement..
Like Zaims said, maybe its time to cosidder politics.. ;)

My comp used to run the org. UT 2004 with everything set on the highest possebly settings, but with this mod "Which is absolutly amazing by the way", Im running at about 5 - 7 fps. I dont know if thats a soletary problem, or if others is experiensing the same thing. Mayby thats the reson that not many are playing online.. Which is truely a shame... If this is a general problem then I suggest that you take a look on the performence in your next release. This mod have got so much potential that its almost surreal... Tweak it, make your own enginge, wrap it in a nice box, sell it, and become multi millionaires! ;)

All of the monters keeps hesitate to attack when one approce them. The zombies are to slow, too low dmg, and incredibly bugged. The only creatures who actually attacks, is the dog, and they´re odly enough f`cking overpowered! The maps are well thought, (Though too few of em) and the array og weaponery is cool, but please.. Fix the damn monsters in the next release..

Hey aztec, if you are checking this forum, could your then please drop a comment now and then, just to let us know that you havent given up on the project? With all due respect, I have read that your real life is hard on you pt, but seriusly, it has been 3 month since your last update, and the mod have been on 90 % for the better part of a half year... :/ Anyway, keep up the good work, cos this one is the reason why many still got MP2 taking up HD space... (Me inclusive).

Okay, just checked out your profile, and I must say you are working on plenty of mods at the moment, so i asumed that you were somewhat into modding by now. Now, as stated before, I know nothing about modding myself, and I fully uderstand how Wolf3d can be good pratice in creating mods, you know, learn the basics and all, but isnt the gab between modding for a 2D game and a game in full 3D pretty wide?

Now, I know im just plain slow, but could you please explain for me, now that Wolf3D takes things down to the pixel level, shouldnt it make it easier to work with, compared to all that polygon stuff which fill out modern 3d games? I still dont see how it could challenge a 21 centory comp..

Btw, if you havent played HL2 you are really missing out on something :)

Listen, I respect your work and all, but why put several months into creating a Wolf 3d mod..? With the same effords, I´d bet you could pull off a nice HL2, or something like that, mod based on the same concept.. Again, no offense, but wolf 3d is more than a decade old, and most gamers have moved on to real 3D...

By the way, how the hell can you experience FPS problems in a game like that?? Unless you are using and Amiga, or something like that Which I Doubt, you should have something like 10000 fps... Now, I know praticaly nothing about modding, but a few 2D creatures should not be a problem even for a low spec pc..

But, best of luck completing your mod. At least it brings back memmories :)
