Has the "heart of the Oasis'" maze/puzzle been change? Played 24 hrs game time can't crack now, have a map used to work, have 4 starfields showing, but still no oasis!!!
I had same poblem, and also when reloading previous saves (even back about 6 previous saves) all inventory was empty. found fix for looting mutants,and all orked OK again normally.
Check y last post 2 pages back, was Sniper class.
Figured it out. Was caused by 2.02 version of the scope fix for 16x10 but only happened in this area, had been using for days with no problems. Sorry about that.

I found I had tried adding Monsters M6, but the Guns addon was a corrupted download, tried a few times with same result. so now will wait and see if I can get Guns later. Will re-install later, without monsters. Thanks for your help.
Ah, OK that's prbaby the cause. I was doing those Alun Pages things where you had to do a lot of jumping and I got hit by bandits, somehow survived but took a lot of damage doing it. Have lots of trouble doing that first Jump (in fact that is only ever success) because I've lost lot of use with left hand (Run & Jump at same time) ater stroke 3 ears ago, but happy now I've done it at last. Will pay Cardan a visit, or Nimble. Thanks for your help.
What do you repair Gillie suit with?
Have tried heavy suit repair, field repair, 3 glue tube types, now only Cardan is left I think, and he will want a fortune. Any help greatly appreciated.
I tried changing slot = 0 for knife & slot = 4 for binoculars (it didn't work), then I noticed a 2nd slot entry further down (not the animation ones), so tried changing those as well, but that didn't work either.
Must be somewere else, Hopefully, somone knows the solution. Thanks or your help.
What code change is needed to put knife back on key 1 & bnoculars back to key 5, my only dislikes so far. Cooking is fairly easy, artifact handling a bit more challenging, But everything else is great.

Hi vanderer, I have read FAQ but can't see relation to problem. I know to reload last save, but it will crash again soon after so I save often. Have noticed I get the same error message, but with slight difference, being the graph number changes each time, rest is same. Hasn't really worried me, I just move further on, currently going into X16 lab, error above was in wild Teritory, but have had others. Great Mod your team has given us with AA2, this is 3rd play through.
Just use the A_A_2 Scopes Changer, and see for yourself, it's very easy to use and if you don't like one set change to another. Hope this helps.

OK thanks, had seen a small mod that put a viper into pistol slot but it had a slightly different file structure (had unique_items.ltx that I couldn't see with the 2.01 patch) so haven't tried it yet, just thought I'd check first to be sure before trying with a shottie.
How do I go about modding player sway while aiming with a sniper rifle, as we don't have a breath hold button.
Also how can you put your shotgun into the pistol slot or is it not possible.
Also, is there a way to stop the inventory moving back to the top when you eat, or drink, unload, drop a useless weapon etc. These are my 2 cents suggestions, really love this mod, you've done a great job with it.

You need to copy any file you are editing to a temporary folder, do your edit/s then copy and paste over the one in \gamedata\.....or wherever, OR turn off CUA (I think that's the name, it's windows way of protecting files, at least with Vista anyway). Hope this helps. Oh and always Keep backups in case something goes wrong.

I found it set to o.o, I changed to 0.0025 which I found sort of OK for me anyway.
How do you slow down time, looked in the PDA and it just zooms along.

I think you need to get really close to the safe and try to open using "F" key then it is found upstairs where ladder is in earlier building in backpack.
Does anyone know where to get the MP3 music addon without having to use that Narod site ( I have tried there, but failed). I tried using just the sounds folder from the GEO version, but that didn't work for me.

Got to the Gauss pistol project (where you need artifacts for Cardan, plus docs etc, but he sends you to Nitro to make some coils), Nitro sends you to Hawaiin, he directs you to negotiate with some Freedom guys, but when you get to them they don't have any negotiating skills, only "Hi" or "Goodbye". This breaks that mission till I find answer. Anyone had similar trouble? Help greatly appreciated.
When you do the chopper run as in vanilla game, does anyone take the documents from you to give to USS leaders?
And I suppose you don't leave by chopper (as it says there is no way back), so freeplay begins, also what of the 'Dark valley' map when does it kick in.
Also the ship attack missions never happened this time, no guy in room beside Cardan's workshop, etc. I must have missed something along the way. Now done X8 laboratory etc, met Strelok and now doing chopper run.
Please help, I'm a bit confused now.
Just noticed your mention of the battle tactics, hadn't realised they changed anything, but some guns - wow, kill heaven ahead.

Anyone know the numbers you need to change to adjust sight for 'boar' shotgun (vepr.ltx) down a bit, love this gun but when aiming it's way up, rest is good, I mostly use crosshair for now. I believe there's 3 sets of numbers (aim_hud_offset_pos or aim_hud_offset_pos_16-9), can anyone explain their relevance, please. Any help appreciated.
