It is not disabled. Hyperspace/FTL is pretty much the same, with a fuel cost, and a changed animation. All the features that you could expect in Homeworld 2 is still incorporated in the Mod.

Actually in BSG:FC there are several other Battlestar Types as well as a handful of Frigate Class ships to choose from. So Galactica is only one of Eight Battlestar Classes to choose from. (Recommissioned Galactica, Valkyrie, Mercury (Pegasus), Ares, Columbia, Atlantia and one more that eludes me at this time. And for the Frigates you have the Firestar, Strikestar, and Defender. You also have access to a wide variety of fighter craft such as the Viper Mark 2 and 7 as well as the Mark 3, Stealthstar, Vulture, and some experimental craft. As for Raptors and Scout ships you have several different versions of them. Recon, Marine, Assault, Missile. Every ship has it's use and weaknesses. Just gotta know how to use them. I know I've gotten my butt handed to me a few times because of not planning things ahead of time.
The Petition was signed nearly roughly a year ago. However people are still signing it. Hell, even three previous Stargate Cast Members (David Hewlett being one 0.0) I signed it a little while ago. And I do hope that they will revive SGU. It was a very good series, despite being a bit on the slow side when it started off.
Thanks for the kind words Greg! Glad to hear that you are looking forward to the release of these mods! In the mean time, I suggest that you download the Alpha Version of the Stargate Space Conflict Mod that was released last year. It's a good way to wet your whistle for now!
That's because the Galactica's armor plating was being removed and replaced with lighter armor. It was being converted into a museum. You don't need heavy armor on a museum. Look at the Blood And Chrome version versus the BSG Version. Blood And Chrome had MUCH more armor AND weaponry.
I'd highly recommend using UDK. Whilst you can't SELL the game, you can definitely make a good one using UDK! Especially the new one, it's so nice!
Can't download any part due to it being a split archive. Mod looks good but guess I can't play unless I pay.

Just wanted to say that video is pretty neat. My only nitpick about the whole thing is that the Yamato class ship you were flying as. There aren't any forward or aft gun turrets. Though nice effects with the Pulse Laser Grid. Overall pretty good stuff!
This really needs to be brought back. I'd kill to have this Mod.
Nice work guys! I used to be a beta for you guys on the HL2 mod! I can't wait to see what you guys cook up for Crysis!

Ok to anyone that wants to play this mod I found out the hard way. You need ALL the expansion games to run it! ALL of them. I used FOMM and below it listed what I needed. ALL expansions are required to run it!
Thanks. I've heard the Yamato or U-571 as you guys call it, is one of the most expensive ships in the game. =( Thought she'd be one of the earliest to get lol But hey the Yamato is definiatly worth the time and effort.
Ok this has probably been asked before but why is the icon of the mod the Yamato or Argo depending on the area you're from.
