start/services/ right click on that AMD shite I mentioned above and disable it. (PS: it obviously helps alot, for me anyway, that+ setting CPU priority to "HIGH" in the TM.)
Attention all AMD consumers! Once I disabled "AMD External Events Utility" all the stutter and mouse lag I was mysteriously receiving suddenly vanished AKA "no more incremental stutters every 10 seconds or so". As a final statement I encourage everyone capable of upgrading there PC's at this time or further into the future, to never invest in an AMD build or GPU as the drivers are utter **** in every regard and the customer service equally so. Nvidia for the win and to hell with bad coding.
The general consensus around here seems to strongly agree, as I longer for a stutter fix just as they.
The new update is fantastic in every way shape and form. However, when playing as the Borg against various legendary opponents (especially the Federation) I either get spawn trapped by "Unity" starbase spam ,or get resource raped via starvation and again "unity" starbase spam. If another or, "final" patch is released in the near future I seriously hope that the Borg cube and other equally infamous Borg vessels that are apart of the player controlled Borg are restored to their previous levels of tank-dom. As of now (In my opinion, backed by the opinions of many others I'd assume) the player controlled Borg are the weakest faction in the game and the Federation seems to dominate all other AI's to a point that could be seen as conceivably insane levels of power. (Talk about OP, as I've seen one Federation AI tank two legendary Klingon AI's simultaneously and win.) I longer for the days of Borg curb stompery to return.
I am fairly certain that the stutter is only a result of playing with eight AI's on impossible difficulty. (the only difficulty I will ever play on, to easy otherwise, with so much Sins experience racked up on my figurative belt.) However I am only playing on a "Large" map.
Where do you place a fan to cool VRM? I am sorry if my ignorance relating to the minuates of motherboards offends.
Could CPU overclocking be the root of the stutter problem? As I've been running my 4770k at 4.4GHZ @1.280 volts with no issues whatsoever. Would a reversion to standard clocks help? As I have a feeling that even if I were running a 4790K (which defaults to 4.4 GHZ at 1.280 volts (or around that) at turbo, the stutter would still remain in its utterly annoying existence.
I've tried it, but I think I'll leave it on for the time being as performance and stutter seems reduced to a higher extent if HT is on strangely enough :) .
Does turning off hyperthreading aid in reducing the annoying stutter?

I am highly intrigued by this specimen of inter-factional love. However for the time being I will continue to destroy as many of these burly beasts before they're terrific weapon systems are upgraded. BTW: Is it Just me or does it feel like when playing Borg, that the assimilation cube has been nerfed since CTA 1.1? I felt that while playing as Borg in 1.0 the Borg were overall more powerful in 1.0, just speculation of course. (It might just be the new and brutal AI resonating the sensation of nerf-dom.)
The Starbase that the Federation and Klingons are building is called the "Unity" star base. They can shove there "Unity" up there arses :)
@OrionSlaver, Why are Klingon and Federation star bases not Klingon and Federation star bases? Instead of them being Klingon and Federation they're these weird and generic space stations, with an estranged almost Pirate look to them; almost similar to what Federation stations look like an overall mushroom esque look, however instead of being white and blue, they're red and silver. Can you tell me how to fix this, and what faction are these "unknown" stations intended to belong to?

Undoubtedly, they'll stumble across this mass amount of text aswell lol. I simply figured that you were apart of the Dev team aswell seeing that you belong to the "ST Armada 3 Dev Group". In any case you seem to know your stuff as a valued member of their team.
All great points, however the majority of Hirogen still stubbornly clinged on to the hunt, holding on tightly to the conservative attitude that had fueled them to hunt down and eradicate members of alien species that they deemed worth to genocidally exterminate over the vast span of more than 100,000 years. Such a cultural prowess as the hunt couldn't be scrapped in a mere weeks time, it would take centuries for the Hirogen to adapt to hunting pathetic holographic pray alone.
As for Species 8472 the majority of them backed down after Captain Janeway revealed to them that the Federation possessed only one vessel in the Delta Quadrant and their entire purpose was to get home without sparking conflict in the Borg infested quadrant. I'd assume that Species 8472 acted in kind while keeping a keen eye on Voyager to determine the validity of their claim. At the end of the day Photonic canons (8472 beam weapon's) are far superior to conventional Fed weapons (Phasers, and photonic torpedos which must seem archaic by an analogous comparion), (with the exclusion of the modified Borg nano-probes that could one shot bioships). Undoubtably 8472 has seen this weakness and has identified the Federation as being a meager rival, with the exception of Voyager.
I am quite hopeful that Sins 2 will be announced after the release of GCIII, and that it'll feature multithreading support aswell as a 64bit format. Then will see about Hirogen, Vaadwaur, and Turei alike. As you can see I have put alot of faith in your teams prestigious array of erudite like abilities. Your work is truly masterful so far and I can't wait for Axanar.
Understandable, however Species 8472 is a Delta quadrant race (fluidic space), and as far as I know they've never attacked the alpha quadrant in a canon manor that is. Atleast not in any of the series, certainly not in Voyager; nevertheless I love their epic Darth Vader style rebreathers (Hirogen) "hehe". Anyway Janeway thwarted their plans for invasion, and it is logical to assume that the Hirogen would one day press on into the alpha quadrant. Would it be possible for a Delta quadrant themed verion of the mod for Sins 2?
@OrionSlaver, I must get confirmation on this, but is their any chance of a Hirogen hunting party random event (voice acting and all) to be included in the upcoming V2 update? Or will such things like making additions to the current Random Events (this include's new ships), have to wait for a speculative port to the 64bit engine that will run a rumored Sins 2? In my opinion they'd really add a certain closure to the mod, as they are my favorite Star Trek species, possessing an utter sense of inherit brutality that courses throughout their veins.
I do realize that the game is just now utterly stretching its memory limits when it comes to new additions like: ships, factions (especially factions), random events, and adding new ships to the pirates aswell as overhauling that ugly vanilla starbase of theirs. Nevertheless, I must make one last slight request as an individual driven overboard by nostalgia. This mod: Armada2.filefront.com (which I heavily enjoyed in the past) has driven me to ask for Hirogen in STA3 the fanatically exciting and inspiring mod it is, I am hoping that this request is acknowledged and that one way or another via a possible modular installation like SOGE took advantage of in the past or through (if possible) being able to turn off Gorn and Nausican pirates in favor of Hirogen Hunters which would in turn blow my mind (kind of like a hardcore pirates setting, that is if it isn't hardcoded and can be changed at will.) A final possibility of sorts would be to (if including the Hirogen in the mod) reduce the Hirogens influence in the mod and memory exhausted by reducing the Hirogen to a meer random event.

Strange, I hope they revert the AI's behavior patterns to the exceptionally violent state it was in during the 1.0 release (the AI would be more favorable to me if they built hundreds of ships and proceeded to smash me early on, while replacing any ships I destroyed of theirs almost immediately, I'm a fan of Brutality). I prefer an enemy that builds enormous and overwhelming fleet structures, aswell as tons of defensive emplacements, and proceeds to send everything they have at me relentlessly, not some defensive or what I'd define as a "cowardly, and buggy AI" that sits around and does nothing (no offense, I know it'll be fixed). Point being the Federation are easily taken out by me in this mod or the Insane Klingon AI which roles over the Feds like their nothing; same goes for the Dominion it is if they give up after expanding to at least a dozen systems. BTW: Torei raiders "Random event" or Torei VS Vaaudwaur Random event battles would be epic (maybe Hirogen pirates to, or Hazari).
The mod is exceptionally well polished and an utterly fantastic Star Trek experience as a whole, other than a few minor issues having to do with the AI slowing down their ship production and becoming less violent as a whole (especially the Cardassian faction nearing the end of a scenario). For example the Borg (when set to an aggressive disposition, and Legendary difficulty) stop expanding and bunker down at one of their outer colonies around the 1hr 30min mark of a game; and the Dominion around the same time frame begin to spam indoctrination centers and manufacture small and utterly insignificant raiding fleets targeting my outer colonies which are quickly dispatched by one of my larger "combat fleets". However, I'll assume that these minor issues relating to the AI will be ironed out shortly once the new patch is released. Changing the subject, I think it would be cool to make new additions to random events in a future release such as making changes to the "Quantum singularity RE" by giving Species 8472 their dreaded ability to destroy planets via a combined photonic cannon through one of their larger capital ships (not yet included in the mod, seen at the end of "Voyager, eps "Scorpion PT.1"). That would really give the Borg a run for their money. Another thing I'd personally like to see includes a Vaadwaur random event where they appear at a random planet through the underspace and raid it.

The only thing I've edited is the malevolance's XML giving it a tad bit of a stat boost, nothing more however. Here's a question I must bring forth however, when saving the game on the Galactic map I would pause the game while doing so can this cause savegame corruption?
I'm getting an instant CTD when trying to load my GC game on the "Clone Wars" map, i'm playing as the CIS on hard difficulty and I'm quite far in. If anyone can offer me a solution to this problem aswell as a fix so that naturally this problem won't recur again I'd be quite thankful.
@Geroenimo, Will you be adding the Harbinger class close-range Sith destroyer to your mod via a full mod update, or another addon like you did with your turboslasers yesterday? It would definitely add even more variance to your mod, and many others including myself would love to see it in action, seeing that it is a very elegant yet massive design of mass scale destruction.
