It is being continued: Bitbucket.org
Short and sweet: I done went and broke my PC, fortunately E.Nigma's reuploaded his official AO3.1 for CoC (fully patched). You can find it on the official AO page. Just like last time I'll be keeping this version up for posterity, but I'm (100% true this time) unable to provide any support for it.
I'm unsure if the armor addon has been merged with the official version, but I know that AO3.1 has many additions (like the newest STCS weapon animations/sounds) - so for the best experience you should head over there and grab it.
The Ceano's merge here should work
See my post below :)
Have you used the hotfix?
The plan is for me to merge in the 3.1 version and maintain it for CoC. Unfortunately I'm having some righteous hardware problems right now, sit tight my children.
Can you upload a full log after the crash? In _appdata_ > logs, and upload it to pastebin or google docs.
You should take a look at Shoker to see if you can merge in their blood pools.
Yeah because when the time changes it triggers parts of the spawning scripts.
Yeah I had this problem with the unofficial port. It's actually a vanilla issue basically. EPIC left the achievement-modified trader inventories in the trade files, even though you can't obtain those achievements in CoC. I changed it so that those traders only used the supplies_generic inventory.
There's no penalties for lack of sleep in vanilla CoC or any mod that's currently been ported to it.
Just remember that sleeping doesn't really accelerate time. Like in CoP the game doesn't simulate the game world during sleep - except for events that will trigger at a given time (like emissions).
Ahhh I checked the inventory icons for all weapons, outfits and ammo but not addons :/
Will get a patch out for 1 and 3. I can't speak for 2, I don't know how that option is coded, but I'm assuming the time taken is proportional to item price. I might go spelunking around to see if an .ltx controls the variables (I don't trust my LUA skills).
Neither, I'll only be making bugfixes for this port if they come up but I recommend you switch to E.Nigma's official port. Start with a clean/patched gamedata!
Ahhhh moist, endorsed :)
It's always the little things, hotfix and hotfixed patches are up!
Did you install it over a vanilla CoP that was modded? If not, no idea. Ask the technicians upgrade mod if he changed anything that could've caused this.
Honestly man, if it's fun and stable then chuck it on the addons page. The more people playing the more suggestions you'll get, bug reports to work from and large chance someone will come along and do the work for you ;)
Apt name. You must have a modded w_winchester1300.ltx because in vanilla CoC Trapper's Winchester doesn't have a model file (.ogf) - and in the vanilla w_winchester1300.ltx it doesn't ask for one.
Go into gamedata/configs/weapons and delete your w_winchester1300.ltx.
And it just occurred to me that you must be using mods in general, Trapper being a trader? Mention which mods you use when you post an issue, and if you can post it in that mod's page.
Also upload a full log next time.
Haha that's why I chucked that to be fair in. I was saying I don't expect them to see it or acknowledge if they did - was throwing it out there.
The consolation is that we usually get discussion between ourselves if the suggestion is good or not. Not much point going 'well the devs aren't listening to us so suck it up' because it adds nothing.
And yep, I kind of know the feeling. People reporting problems you're in the process of fixing, reporting problems that arise from modding/failed modding or giving suggestions/asking question that can't or shouldn't be replied to - for various reasons.
@loleschido8 AOforCoC doesn't alter the game_relations.ltx. It could be a leftover from Faction Wars or another mod. like Farrakhan said it's really straightforward to edit if you want to alter it. Or just delete it to revert to vanilla values, but if you have other mod leftovers your game could become unstable.
Ahhh Fallout 4 is starting to suck up my time.
Big update incoming, so much so that I'm slapping a big 2.0 on it. I'm viewing it as the end of 'fitting AO3 into CoC' and subsequently the start of adding in new features. Plus I've chucked in the outfit addon to lure the FO4 players back in (won't work, trust me).
Well, dev presence here seems thin (tons of comments to be fair), but I have a request I think would be a big quality of life fix.
Can another path to Yantar created? (or the existing one moved?)
It's unecessarily difficult for Merc or Freedom players to obtain the psy helmet. Either you have to fight your way through the bar or take a massive trip in constantly hostile territory to reach Yantar.
Did you start from a clean install? This error doesn't originate from AO.
>out of memory
Truck Cemetery is unoptimized, put -noprefetch in the target field of your CoC shortcut.
In response to this and all others 1) make sure you game is patched and 2) the economy hasn't been fully rebalanced yet, trader buy/sell values still need to be fixed amongst others.
If you are up to date then as to 3) 5.45 weapons are pretty poor against the military, either use the weapon damage tweaks or switch weapons. Their Berill and Skat-9 armor can soak up a bit of punishment.
For the accuracy one, it's fairly obvious a lot of your shots are missing. Turn on tracers in the weapons.ltx to get a better idea.
hit ` ingame, use the CoC command 'fov X' where X is your desired fov.
Patched? Yes it should be savegame compatible.
Vanilla Call of Chernobyl problem.
Upload your entire log file, and while you're at it go into gamedata > configs > weapons and upload the w_ak74.ltx file.
What were you doing when this crash occured?
Funnily enough Strelok's SIG is called the sig550 luckygun in the game files. Definitely living up to its name.
To clarify: are you good with the condition decay and repair cost of the initial AO for CoC release?
