Description

Battery №53 of the Red Army on the Eastern Front, 1943.

After days of heavy fighting, the battery is able to take a break. However, their break is cut short by bad weather and a horrid downpour of rain. One of the 152mm ML-20 Howizters was destroyed as a result of a German strafing run by a Ju-87B Stuka dive bomber, along with a Voroshilovets Artillery Tractor. Another ML-20 is sinking in it's emplacement as a result of the downpour, leaving it's crew and Red Army passer-bys to help dig it out. The day before, Panzerkampfwagen IV(PzKpfw IV), number 984, broke from the German lines and came across the artillery. PzKpfw IV #984 was destroyed by an ignition of the fuel tanks, which engulfed the tank in flames. The commander and the loader died in the fire, but the driver was able to escape, only to be caught by a Red Army Corporal. 76mm F-22 Divisional Guns stand on watch to deal with more threats like PzKpfw IV #984, who aim to menace Comrade Stalin's artillery.
