i dont know much about game engines but would it be possible to re write the SoSE engine into a 64 bit format which would solve all your problems for the most part

on the whole balance issue are the typhoon class really that balanced i mean i have a 3 of them in a fleet with a quiet a few cruisers guarding them and there mk2 bombers tear everything to shreds you send them after the capitals and 2-4 of the enermy capitals wont even reach your fleet

okay could you set up a newsletter kinda thing that people can signed up too so they can be notified when your gunna release a patch/expansion

not really look at what the ship did its first shot on voyager didn't one shot it it would take 2 or 3 shots to kill a intrepid class then it would make a couple of shots to kill anything else and aslong as they where in small numbers they wouldn't win vs a fleet
