Hi Axonis! I've noticed that the brackets separating stats in the Pip-Boy are improperly aligned at 4k, 1080p however works fine, I'm wondering, if possible what settings I can change to fix this?

I see, this probably isn't the mod for me then. I feel what might be easy for you and others, isn't easy for me. Again, I don't want something that rewards every small victory in abundance, but something that feels dynamic and believable, such as equal misery for you and your enemies. Anyways, thanks for your response, and best of luck with 2.2!

I think you're missing the point, it's a balancing act. I don't think anyone expects a prestine weapon that is fully loaded, despite that you'd still be at a heavy disadvantage if you got the weapon anyways. I think at least a believable amount of ammunition is fair, low amounts, something to keep you going, along with a very worn weapon, yet still viable to use for at least 1 or 2 firefights. Or make it so that NPC's can run out of ammo too, that way there's an actual excuse to not get any afterwards and puts a fun emphasis on killing quickly. No one is going to tell you what balance is right, this is Misery after all, but it's not believable in the least sometimes, just like getting a perfect weapon as you say isn't believable either. I feel you're looking at this with an all or nothing attitude, no one is going to berate you for making it a little bit more "easy" and believable and I'm really hoping for some logical odds in 2.2. I personally find being at a disadvantage all the time, even one on one, not fun in the least, and it's so frustrating that even if I do survive, it doesn't feel rewarding at all, because of how cheated I feel from the game mechanics. Basically, it's Misery for the player, yet living like kings for every other NPC, further making it feel immersion breaking and illogical

Hey everyone! I'm just curious what renderer I should be running with, will Direct3D 10/OpenGL have any graphical or performance improvements over the default Direct3D9? And if so, will the former conflict with GMDX' intended art style? Also, I want to make sure I have the games load order in check, even though everything seems to be working good. In the Data Directories, I have New Vision at the top and enabled, GMDXv9 2nd and enabled, HDTP 3rd and enabled, but GOTY_1 4th and disabled. I'm guessing everything is correct but my OCD is itching, and I just needed to ask these questions, haha, thanks guys!

So I installed version 1.4 but I'm having a crash on initializing a New Game, it will go through the loading screen and then crash right before the game starts. I set Administrative privileges for the executable and the X-Ray engine, no avail, I even moved the installation folder out of my Program Files and into my documents, that didn't fix anything either. The thing is, I'm 90% sure that it's not the mods' issue, and that it's probably just another instability/limitation/overbearing-security situation with Windows 10, which has turned out to be the most unstable and infuriating OS I've ever used. I have played on version 1.3.20 without incident on a non-Anniversary Updated version of Windows 10, but that's my point, some setting must have changed since the update and further screwed over my OS' stability, especially with certain games. Rant over, any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

EDIT: ShadowFear's post on the front page sounds similar to the issue I'm having, my settings are near maxed out, like his. I'm going to test and see if it crashes if they are not. Sorry, I've just been super flustered with Windows 10's bullshite lately.

EDIT 2: Yeah, this is going to sound contradictory, and I'm sorry about that, but it turns out, me and ShadowFear have the same issue, maxing the settings is what caused the crashes, not Garbage 10, lowering the settings a bit fixed it.
