How could I go about disabling the Oblivion Crisis? I enjoy it mostly, but sometimes I just want to pain the map without worrying about near-invincible doomstacks spawning throughout my empire.

Is there anyway I can just disable the Others? Both because of the save corruption issue and because I personally just don't enjoy them.

Has anyone found out where/how to get Blackfyre yet?

My current save is 294 days in, and I had another save that went corrupt that was 350, but I've yet to see the... event. I've seen the Free Cities declare war and what not, but the invading faction has yet to appear. Any help/advice?

Get an older version from the TaleWorlds website. If asked, you can use your CD key from Steam for it. I'm currently using v1.153 and I no longer get the constant crashes I got on v1.158

When Steam updated to 1.158, I got crashes every couple battles. When I got an older version, I got no more crashes. Obviously this doesn't apply to everyone, but it did to me.

If you're playing on Warband version 1.158, that might me the problem. I got the same issue but once I got an older version of the game via TaleWorld's version index, namely v1.153, I no longer got the crashes.

That's likely a side effect of not having enough strength to use the items the game gives you for the arena. Boost your strength to 12 or so and you should be good.

If you've got companions, just have them pick the items up and when you're in the market menu in a city just click the option that says something along the lines of "Sell loot Automatically". Once in that sub menu, just click "continue" if you want them to sell or go to the options for the feature and adjust things like value cap for companion's sales.

If it's 1.158, then it wasn't working for me. It's worth a try as not everyone has the same issue, but if it doesn't work you can go to the M&B website and download an older version.

Anyway, I just defended a castle against like 500 Ironborn with only 68 men, so I'm feeling pretty accomplished.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or what, but Edmure will not leave Riverrun. No matter what. I've been a vassal of the Riverlands for 80+ days now and he's not left ONCE. Even when there's a battle going on right outside his walls, HE DOES NOTHING despite the fact that he has a host 400 strong. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk or blame you, but this is really damn annoying.

The functions like horse calling, deploying pavises, and spear bracing don't seem to work no matter what I do, even with Warband Script Enhancer. Any help/advice?

You've gotta admit, charging into battle with an army of Unsullied at your back is a hell of a lot more badass than plain old billmen.

Sorry to complain, but why are the Unsullied wages so high? They cost more than top tier cavalry! I understand that you likely did it for balancing reasons, but could you not just make each troop cost more to buy? I mean, they ARE slaves.
